When Lal Bahadur Shastriji was a minister in the government, his family needed a car to travel around. Given his limited personal finances, he decided to take a bank loan to buy a Fiat car.
Once he was appointed as the Prime Minister, the loan still hadn't been repaid in full.
Shortly after assuming office, Shastriji ensured that he paid off the remaining loan amount from his personal savings, even though the car was now technically a part of the official motorcade and he could have continued using it without repaying the loan.
The act may seem small but is emblematic of his steadfast adherence to personal and public ethics.
May we always work to realize his Natikta in Public Service. 🇮🇳

Sir very true there is also standard of living and earning in india which plays a great role in rich leaving india, I guess if rich are criticized continuously it's not far that remaining ones will also leave india and run their business from overseas in india. The problem is discipline in india people can't see others doing good things, if roads are cleaned and good infrastructure are build people from opposite parties will come to vandalize it maybe by red spit or other ways. When we consider competition and opportunities falling short due to large population w.r.t. earning it's very sad reality but not unexpected for parents to wish for children to have better life very accomplished officials like you already know this that childrens are not definitely as accomplished as parents all the time.

Other then that everything is normal
So it's a type of dual citizenship or world citizenship.
Today world is global capitalism world
The person who hold global mobility is going to be wealthy
And business men 1st love is money

They all know how pathetic leadership is in India and where India is moving. Trust me, how frustrating it is to get basic needs in India. Everyday you have struggle in India thanks to our so called neta and so called government people.Water crisis, medical facilities, roads, traffic, pollution, power crisis , poverty, corruption, commission.I'm 30 years old living in Thane, couldn't see 24/7 water supply till my life.pollution all over. It take me 2 hrs to reach office for to cover 15km. With potholes, traffic, dust, narrow roads, traffic pollice harrasment.I'm getting frustrated. Thts the reason I'm too looking moving out from this country. Paying taxes in lakhs but basic infrastructure nahi milta. Yaha pai sirf harrasment hoti hai logo ki. I feel somehow how should I change or add some contribution to change country. But then i realised most of the people the mindset is itself corrupt. Our leaders have no vision. Unko pata he nahi hai ki what going on country. How pathetic our infrastructure is. Mp, MLA's unko unki duty he nahi pata hai. MP footpath bana ke development bol Raha hai and MLA uss footpath pai dhakan laga Raha hai. I think so it's our fault ki hum log he yase logo ko elect karte hai. I can see after 1950 India Mai Jo rules banane chaiye the wo properly Bane nahi. And who comes in power sab log according to our convince they ruled. They made this system weak. Unlike usa yaha pai they got improved with time. Aur hum log niche chale gaye. Yaha sirf thoda bahot malam Patti ka kamm hota hai.no one has vision for longer term . Lalu, mulam etccc jase log jab tak iss desh mai pade hote rahenge ye Desh kabhi nahi badlega. I feel like we can't do anything now. These people have so power we can't go against them. Even if we went well can't do much. We are family people, we need to take care of parents, children. Unko humere Siva koi nahi hai. Also if we went against they it's extremely easy for them to harres us. Ek din job pai nahi Gaye toh salary aana band hota hai. Bad is in India we don't have any
Institute Jo hum logo ka side le. Humere sath koi khada ho. Today court, cbi, police, ED , justification system, government all are not that trustworthy. Police toh sunti bhi nahi hai. Ulta tumere uper fake case laga ke tumhari life kharb kar degi.

I'm tired over Indians and even ministers getting 'pride' over success of Indians who went abroad ..and taking credit for their success and counting it as 'India's Global power' .
lmao. those smart people made their personal choice to leave the country. they are happily citizens of western countries. woh aur unka parivar Wapas nahi aane wale. we should think about why that is, instead of being 'proud' for what? it's like being proud of your girlfriend who left u for a rich guy .

This is just a harsh reality.
I am in AIIMS, doing my residency.
And when i am in the library studying, all i see 30-40% of AIIMS UG they are preparing for USMLE.
I am not an expert in many other aspects, but the health care india is providing is very scary. It's become more evident when i come to AIIMS. Treatment facilty, equipment in the hospital of my UG college, was so soo less. That also inspite of being a medical college, we can easily understand what condition of other govt Hospitals.
One of my seniors went for fellowship at Stanford, and when he came back, he said it was a completely different world. Its like we are behind by at least 20-30 years (that is AIIMS, NEW DELHI), and you can easily guess what are the Treatment we are providing in other hospitals.
So its a big time, we should, and we must put our utmost attention in health and education. Otherwise, everyone will leave who has the opportunity for better good.

I have seen in the news or articles that foreigners (not Americans) come for treatment in India(especially Chennai, I read it a few times). Recently I guess someone came from Pakistan for treatment.
I agree that we are lagging in providing facilities. Serving 150 crore people in this corrupted society is a difficult task. I believe Only leaders with great vision can achieve that.
I want to understand that, are we behind in technology as well in the medical field?

Medical field have issues of lack of wide spread infra structure. So India has few of the most advanced hospitals and at same times hudreds of poorly managed hospitals, esp government and medical colleges.
Metaphor is like, rich of the world has 40 times more money than half of the world.
Because our doctors have wide scope of experiences due to population.
So people who comes for treatment in India, have two important things. 1st is money [same treatment is much more costly or not available in their own country] and 2nd is early treatment [sometimes, in their country they will get appointment after 1 month / 2 month and 3 months].

In India you can at least get treatment at reasonable prices. It's too costly in the USA, you won't get an appointment for weeks here in Australia and no appointment for months in UK despite being free. Be thankful for medical facilities in India.

My sister on the other hand, became a top exec in a bank in one of the highest per capita GDP countries, and owns a mansion with an orchard, while we are still struggling with upper middle class bills :-) My classmates who went abroad for further studies/ jobs, are all owning large houses and living it up in the posh localities of New York, London etc and don't even dream of coming back. Most of them say it is also much easier to work abroad with foreigners than in the highly charged political atmosphere of Indian corporates. That's how well Indians do abroad. In a nutshell, India is now a dystopian land.Be it you, or Acharya Prashantji, or some other sensible person knows the distressing reality of this country. Sometimes I feel we have reached a point of no-redemtiom where undoing the damage is impossible. The rapaciousness for wealth, fame, and power; the rampant casteism and classism, of average India is one the few reasons for the mess India is in. The only solution to this distressing crisis is this: Either we all become Rama, or choose Rama-like representatives in Parliament. The former is not possible, hence , instead of voting on caste lines or freebies, or so called wave of some leaders, we should unanimously go for credentials of our constituency-candidates.
