What I like about this song is that it has multiple interpretations
On one hand it’s about a relationship breaking down, the “life” being the life of the relationship, which has fallen apart due to “the bitterness”.
The other interpretation is that it’s about someone’s last ditch attempt to prevent a suicide, the “life” being a literal life. The singer didn’t realise how important this conversation was going to be, if he had he would have “stayed up with you all night” to prevent the suicide.

I got told, over 10 years after the fact, that I was the one who stayed up all night and saved a life.
Never knew it was THAT bad until then, just knew it wasn't good and I can't just do nothing.

This song takes me back to 2013 where I was an extremely depressed teen with no idea how I was going continue living life.
It’s now 2020 and the world is exploding around me, but I’m still here and I’ve found my sanity.

- if you know what it is, find out a way to get rid of it
- if you can't get rid of it, learn to accept it and focus on the positive things on your life
- if you can't get over it, find peer support or learn ways how to use your hardship for good
*How to save someone else's life:*
- when they have something to tell, let them tell
- when they tell, listen
- while you listen, try to imagine how you'd feel in the person's situation
- let your following emotions make the work to make that person feel better
This comment is not to claim I'd know answer to every problem in this world.
This is not to claim that you could fix every problem on this world either.
But everyone of us can fix at least one problem, their own or someone else's.
So just let's try to be more aware of this and make the world a little better place one sorrow at time.

I tried suicide 2 years ago, the noose broke. XD Decided to not to try again and go lose some weight. Lololol. Doing... better? What do you call someone in my state? I guess insane... though sociopath might work better. ^^

three of the same girl standing on a tall ledge. the first one walks over and falls off. the second girl look as she falls, the third looking away. the second girl slowly walks over to the edge, leaning over, double thinking this idea... her foot slips... the third girl quickly grabs her. why did she stop her, but didn't stop the first one from falling. after seeing her self jump the first time, she didn't want it to happen again. she realized it was a bad decision. in life, you don't get a second chance, make the right choices as the third won't help the first.

My friend used to love this song. She hung herself, the day before she turned 15. I'll remember her forever, as for this song. I loved her. But I can't tell her that now. Let that be a lesson to you all. I have learned... Don't be shy about your feelings. Tell someone. Because you never know when your chance will slip away.

chances are limited. even if you know how the other is feeling about you you should tell him/her just because you don't know when he/she will be gone. if she/he leaves you then you feel depressed and sad because you will forever have this felling inside you that you could not tell the other about and that will slowly eat you from your inseide until you break down and cry again. time is valuable so use it wise to tell everyone you lovve that you love them

Wow, this picture goes really well with this song. When talking to someone who's depressed or when feeling depressed it really does feel like there is a wall of iron bars separating you. You can hug, be hugged, but there's something in the way of keeping it feeling good or natural.
My fav thing about that picture is how you can't even tell which one is inside the bars and which is outside

The reason I listen to this song is because my closest friend died in a car crash 5 years ago, I think it was my fault because at the time I was in year 6 about to go into year 7 and she had to leave to go to another country which meant i would never see her again and i didn't try to persuade her to stay at all,.. I felt really bad because maybe I could have gotten her to stay, the last words I said to her was "I'll miss you, don't forget me".. I really hope she's in a better place right now. The way I found out is I messaged her asking if she had got there safely, but her Mum told me that she passed away which made me cry for a whole 2 months it wasn't until a week after she died that my family found out. Until this day, I listen to this song.. I'm still trying to forgive myself and realise that it wasn't my fault.. But it truly is hard.. Knowing that you could have possibly done something to help ):

You know, I think the picture is perfect for this song; you can't really tell which one of the two is actually behind bars. One can't save themselves, and the other can't reach them. It's poetic, and bittersweet in a way; really adds to the atmosphere, good job!

@@emonerdkoreaboo8772 its not just about suicide. its has sevral meanings like i can strongly relate to this song because i have been on both sides of those bars. i was actually locked up after getting into a handful of fights and just defying everyone around me, even if they were just trying to help i slapped their hand away. When i was in there i had only one person who even cared enough to call and visit a childhood friend she tried everything she could but i was to stubborn.i moved away and later down the road about 4 years. It was my 18th birthday at 3:45 am i got a call from her parents her ex murdered her and staged a car accident that was the turn around point for me i joined a group to help troubled teens kinda like big brother big sister type thing. well i got paired with this one girl she reminded me quite a bit of how i was when i was younger not even a week in she got arrested for getting in a fight with a guy for messing with her so i visited her in juvi and i helped her get a public defender. and took her somewhere to eat we sat down and talked and she just kinda drifted off to the side. i just stoped talking she said she was gonna walk home and since it was a decent walk i didn't feel right about just letting her walk home when it was half dark i tailed her for a block or two she got got jumped by the guy she beat up and some of his friends. i got out of my car and walked over guy threw a punch and it was all downhill from there its like i reverted into my old delinquent self and i just started grabbing and tossing them like nothing. point being its about the hardships in life and how they effect not only you but those that care about you.

Actually this song is inspired by someone, he had a friend who was bullied and in the end couldn't take it anymore and shot himself and now carries a regret that he couldn't save his friend and this song is inspired on their friendship its about regret and suicide

First off, I'm not going to recall the time where I lost a childhood friend of mine roughly seven months ago, right before entering college. However, I want to say that I understand the pain, the emotions, and the heartbreak from losing someone. With that, I want to say that it's possible to move on and recover. It will be hard, It will be painful, but you will get over that hill. I learned that I wouldn't do anyone any good just be sitting there and be sad all the time, we have to move on at one point. Her death hit me hard, but with her death, it became my inspiration, my drive. I'm attending college to become a doctor, ultimately to either saving a life or making one better in the future, so that no one else has to go through what I had experienced. I'm not ignorant, I know that I can't save all lives, and that not all will have a happy ending, but that wont stop me from trying with every single patient that I may have in the future. The one thing that I want people to get out of this is that we shine the brightest, when we are at our darkest. It's painful and sad to lose someone, but we have to learn to live with that pain and empty hole in heart for the rest of our days. It will not heal completely, time will only close the gap ever so slightly. But that hole will be filled with fond memories and new ones that we are yet to discover.
So chin up, smile, and live your life to the best of your abilities :) I'm pretty sure your friends, family, and loved ones would want you to. I know that my friend wanted me to do the same when she departed on August 5th, 2014 , 5:00 a.m.

One night I had to talk my boyfriend out of killing himself. That night he called me at like 1 am and even though I was pretty much asleep I jumped up and answered it. I stayed up all night with him (pretty much for that reason) even though we did have school the next morning. Please remember, suicide affect everyone around you. Your life is precious so don't throw it away. You are worth something to someone and even if you can't see it you do have people who love you, stay strong 💜❤️💖

It’s cool how since this is normally a slow song, it sounds normal here, unlike most nightcore songs. Only thing that would make it better is if they had an actual person song it at this speed so that it didn’t sound like a robot.
this song reminds me about my ex;-;,reason for it is her mom was the reason we broke up cause her mom didnt want her with boys,she was also not only my gf but also my best friend,i shared everything with her we were open to each other and stuff,then the day came tht i found out tht her friends have been backstabbing her and talking shit behind her back and acting as friends infront of her and i had to do something horrible tht still haunts me to find out more of how they treated her,like i had to act as if i hate her to and stuff,and i told her about how her friends really were and tht broke her and stuff,i didnt know what to do,what to say to comfort her ,cheer her up and etc.,then the day came that i told her how i had to find out about her friends and she said it was fine and i just wanted to make sure it was really fine,cause finding out tht ur friends for 5-6 years isnt really ur friends will shatter u and then all of a sudden she blocked me saying tht i mssged her to much and tht happened 6 weeks ago,i lost a best friend and a good friend and idk wht to do anymore,im so broken,sick of everything cause everything i do just ends up worst or make things worst,she is also my date to the prom in 2 years time and idk wht to do anymore,i feel useless and i still really love this girl and she also told me tht she still loves me but she is also going through alot cause she once cut herself because of her mom,she tried to run away because of the mom and her mom told her once tht she wished she never had her,i was her only reason for still being happy and still living,i helped her with everything and in the end all of this happened just because of her mom again and because of her friends betraying her,i was her only true friend to but now i feel like nothing,i really dont know what to do anymore and i just completely give up,im heart broken,numb and dead inside,and this song just reminds me of her and how everything couldve been so different and stuff so ye thats my story ;-;,just hope the best for everyone else thts perhaps going through the same as me,maybe have it worse or maybe didnt go through this stuff tht i hope u guys/girls will never experience the pain im going through,i pray to God tht everything goes the best for everyone else and tht nothing bad will come to u peoples way,but in myself i lost faith,i lost everything and everything is just darkening up inside of me ;-; i just wished things could be different and i would do anything to get this girl back
