the back story for this song is so sad. bts were hated so much when they were just starting. different fandoms tried to destroy them through sajaegi and plagiarism accusations. it even came to a point when after their concert, a hateful hashtag trended no 1 and the boys saw it. when bts and army came to twitter to celebrate their concert, they saw that hashtag instead. it was so painful to be an army back in 2015-2016. i was crying so much, nervous what issue or hateful post will appear. that's why bts first fan song isnt about them loving armys but about forgetting sad memories and hoping for better days because back then they didnt know that they would be so popular around the world. they just want things to be better. right now there are still so many people who hate on bts but at least the army fandom had grown so much and can fight the hate. this song still makes me cry to this day.

To be honest this is the song i always dreamed to see in real life. I love the new album and all the songs, but i just feel like no song will ever feel like this song, so sad and hopefull at the same time.This songs truly resumes the link between bts and us, this thing that is so hard to express when you try to tell other people about them, because when i hear it it feels like we're all the same person, growing and trying to move forward even trough the darkness. If someone would ask me why I'm an Army, instead of trying to explain with my clumsy words i would rather send them this song, with the Army's singing with all their hearts, because i think that this is the moment where you feel this honesty, in BTS and Army's eyes, this honest love that is just so pure and beautiful. And even if there are some toxic people in this fandom, even if everyone is criticizing us and throwinf free hate on us and on the members all the time, this only song is just a sufficient reason for me to be an Army.
thats right!! I started being a army in the start of 2020 during the pandemic, and I kept it a secret because I was scared and during that time I knew NOTHING about them and the first ever song I heard by BTS was The Truth Untold! I loved it I felt something that I have never felt listening to music! I slowly started being a army!! I told my dad how amazing they where I would watch there lives everyday with him and teach him all there names hehe. And then I started telling my cousins, then I started telling me aunt about it (also shout out to me aunt(s) who are always looking out for me and being the greatest aunt(s) ever!!) then I started watching Run BTS! I would always regret why I couldn't meet them a little earlier!! Actually during quarantine something very personal happened in my family and I would Cry whenever I was alone, I would always watch Run Bts and funny clips of BTS and that would brighten my mood and that was the only thing even Music that I loved almost my whole life couldn't light me. I felt depressed and always gloomy I felt so much stress and I couldn't take it out but on a very sad day I broke down I was trying to cover it and went to the bathroom but came back in the living room crying and hugged my dad. Being an Army was the VERY BEST choice I could have ever make!! I hope people that give hate to bts and to army remember that BTS is not just a Kpop Group that are good dancers, but I hope they remember that BTS have saved Millions, Billions of people in the world!! I even went to psycholog but it doesn't help at all but after I heard this song, I feel that I'm not alone, there's still light and hope for me, that maybe someday I can be happy. 2 years ago I was struggling so much and I tried to take my own life, I failed and sat in my room crying for five hours straight wanting to try again but my depression wouldn’t let me move. I went on my phone before I was going to attempt suicide again and came across this song and I completely broke down. The lyrics gave me so much comfort that I decided I should stay alive another night. This song saved my life. Bts are the reason I am alive right now and I can’t even thank them for how much they’ve done for me. It hurts that I’ll never be able to tell the impact they’ve had on my life and how they’re the reason I am still breathing and able to write this. Thank you bts and army for saving my life, things are tough for me right now so I keep coming back to this song. Bts are my safe place and my escape from bad things. I wouldn’t be here without them, they make me feel more safe than anything else ever could. I wish I could thank them personally. BTS thank you for saving my life. Army stay strong 💜💜💜💜

Honestly, ever since I met BTS, I've grown alot more than i ever could've on my own. I was taught so many beautiful things and I will hold them close to my heart. Thinking back, I used to have severe panic attacks, and somehow ever since i met BTS I can tell you for sure the severity and intensity of them has come to the point where I'm able to control myself. Yes I'm still in a rough spot but the way I've grown because of them is just unbelievable. I never thought someone, especially an artist, could have such an impact on me. I really can't thank them enough for everything. Thank you and I love you are words that I feel aren't strong enough to express my gratitude and love. They've made my past feel like its been an experience instead of it being only pain and suffering. Just as in Hoseok's lyrics in this song, "so thanks, for being the flower in my most beautiful moment in life". They haveve made my time knowing them the most beautiful moment in life. Although I am suffering, although I am in pain, I can look forward and hope for a better future because of these seven men and their beautiful music.

im back here in 2023 going into 2024 watching this beautiful video. its been a couple years since i kinda stopped listening to kpop, i just grew out that phase and took down all my posters and my albums are off my album shelf. but i would like to say that being an ARMY was the greatest thing EVER. i was an army for 6 years and BTS helped me find that light in the dark, everytime i played a bts song is like all my problems would disappear for a while. i was also very suicidal but i had BTS by my side and even tho they werent physically there i can still feel all of them holding my hand leading me to my path. Their lyrics really spoke to me and it made me feel better about myself. i also meet a lot of WONDERFUL and sweet armys along the way. thanks to BTS i am still here. although i still struggle till this day im glad i can put on some bts songs and it helps me remind myself of why i am here. one day i will definitely be getting a tattoo in honor of BTS because no matter what they will always hold a special place in my heart. I am no longer a part of the fandom but thank you so much BTS and thank you ARMY for keeping me strong and for always reminding me that i was never alone ❤ love all of you

The first time I heard it was when my cousin introduced me to it, but I didn’t pay attention to it. The second time I heard it (I put it on again because I wanted to soak it in/understand the beat better) I cried because I never felt so much support in my life. If someone would ask me why I'm an Army, instead of trying to explain with my clumsy words i would rather send them this song, with the Army's singing with all their hearts, because i think that this is the moment where you feel this honesty, in BTS and Army's eyes, this honest love that is just so pure and beautiful. And even if there are some toxic people in this fandom, even if everyone is criticizing us and throwinf free hate on us and on the members all the time, this only song is just a sufficient reason for me to be an Army.

I started being a army in the start of 2020 during the pandemic, and I kept it a secret because I was scared and during that time I knew NOTHING about them and the first ever song I heard by BTS was The Truth Untold! I loved it I felt something that I have never felt listening to music! I slowly started being a army!! I told my dad how amazing they where I would watch there lives everyday with him and teach him all there names hehe. And then I started telling my cousins, then I started telling me aunt about it (also shout out to me aunt(s) who are always looking out for me and being the greatest aunt(s) ever!!) then I started watching Run BTS! I would always regret why I couldn't meet them a little earlier!! Actually during quarantine something very personal happened in my family and I would Cry whenever I was alone, I would always watch Run Bts and funny clips of BTS and that would brighten my mood and that was the only thing even Music that I loved almost my whole life couldn't light me. I felt depressed and always gloomy I felt so much stress and I couldn't take it out but on a very sad day I broke down I was trying to cover it and went to the bathroom but came back in the living room crying and hugged my dad. Being an Army was the VERY BEST choice I could have ever make!! I hope people that give hate to bts and to army remember that BTS is not just a Kpop Group that are good dancers, but I hope they remember that BTS have saved Millions, Billions of people in the world!! I'm telling you the truth. I have ever tried to commit suicide because of my depression. I even went to psycholog but it doesn't help at all but after I heard this song, I feel that I'm not alone, there's still light and hope for me, that maybe someday I can be happy. 2 years ago I was struggling so much and I tried to take my own life, I failed and sat in my room crying for five hours straight wanting to try again but my depression wouldn’t let me move. I went on my phone before I was going to attempt suicide again and came across this song and I completely broke down. The lyrics gave me so much comfort that I decided I should stay alive another night. This song saved my life. Bts are the reason I am alive right now and I can’t even thank them for how much they’ve done for me. It hurts that I’ll never be able to tell the impact they’ve had on my life and how they’re the reason I am still breathing and able to write this. Thank you bts and army for saving my life, things are tough for me right now so I keep coming back to this song. Bts are my safe place and my escape from bad things. I wouldn’t be here without them, they make me feel more safe than anything else ever could. I wish I could thank them personally. BTS thank you for saving my life. Army stay strong 💜💜💜💜

Honestly, ever since I met BTS, I've grown alot more than i ever could've on my own. I was taught so many beautiful things and I will hold them close to my heart. Thinking back, I used to have severe panic attacks, and somehow ever since i met BTS I can tell you for sure the severity and intensity of them has come to the point where I'm able to control myself. Yes I'm still in a rough spot but the way I've grown because of them is just unbelievable. I never thought someone, especially an artist, could have such an impact on me. I really can't thank them enough for everything. Thank you and I love you are words that I feel aren't strong enough to express my gratitude and love. They've made my past feel like its been an experience instead of it being only pain and suffering. Just as in Hoseok's lyrics in this song, "so thanks, for being the flower in my most beautiful moment in life". They haveve made my time knowing them the most beautiful moment in life. Although I am suffering, although I am in pain, I can look forward and hope for a better future because of these seven men and their beautiful music.

im back here in 2023 going into 2024 watching this beautiful video. its been a couple years since i kinda stopped listening to kpop, i just grew out that phase and took down all my posters and my albums are off my album shelf. but i would like to say that being an ARMY was the greatest thing EVER. i was an army for 6 years and BTS helped me find that light in the dark, everytime i played a bts song is like all my problems would disappear for a while. i was also very suicidal but i had BTS by my side and even tho they werent physically there i can still feel all of them holding my hand leading me to my path. Their lyrics really spoke to me and it made me feel better about myself. i also meet a lot of WONDERFUL and sweet armys along the way. thanks to BTS i am still here. although i still struggle till this day im glad i can put on some bts songs and it helps me remind myself of why i am here. one day i will definitely be getting a tattoo in honor of BTS because no matter what they will always hold a special place in my heart. I am no longer a part of the fandom but thank you so much BTS and thank you ARMY for keeping me strong and for always reminding me that i was never alone ❤ love all of you

The first time I heard it was when my cousin introduced me to it, but I didn’t pay attention to it.
