Original Mini was winter of '05. I got mine in the spring. I don't use it often, buy it still works fine...except for the CD drive. I have purposed it with an old Acer monitor and Epson flatbed to be a negative scanning station.
What on earth possessed you to buy the 8GB memory, 512GB storage version? For the same price I bought the infinitesimally more sensible 16GB memory, 256GB storage version and added more storage with an external 1TB Samsung T7 SSD.
One thing I’ve really been wondering is weather the M1 Mac mini could handle playing a movie on streaming, recording in OBS, and recording in logic all at the same time (because that’s what I do with my current intel MacBook) the same as an m2 Mac mini…or can neither of them do it and a MacBook Air or pro is the way to go…Great video!
Love my base model M2! My last Mac was a 2011 IMac. this is next-level. I use it primarily for music production and it is perfect. no complaints.
I love my M2 Pro MacMini

testing ur patience 😂
You are good with 16gb but 256 ssd. 512 ssd is faster atleast half
@@woodyoulove-reynaldguibone6890 That's why my external storage is 1TB.

Great review. Will you be doing the Mac Mini M2 Pro?
Keep up!
Would have been nice if you showed some of the programs you work with versus just talking without reference points
You needed a 16 GB
