I've seen many videos that promise you - just by watching TH-cam videos you can make money super fast, some even claim they made almost $60 in 10 minutes.
Sounds wild, right? Well, I'm going to try and follow the steps and see how it goes.
Especially because in all of these videos they mention doing something on Pinterest… and I happen to have published over 150 videos on my channel with Pinterest marketing tips, so kind of know the Pinterest platform inside out and it would be interesting to see if this can work!
So, here's what they tell us to do first. I need to start by exploring trending videos on TH-cam.
They all suggest using vidIQ, so open the link in the description below, and start a free account, once you do that, you can download the vidIQ Free Extention and install it.
Make sure that the extension is enabled and pinned in your browser like this.
Once you do that, go back to TH-cam and you will see this VidIQ blue icon over here. The first thing I have to do is click on this Most Viewed option, and the free account you'll be able to see trending videos for the last 7 days.
And just to let you know, the free version of VidIQ works just fine for this tutorial, but it is a great tool if you are thinking of being a serious TH-camr like me, you can do extensive keyword research for your videos, get keyword suggestions and I even get AI coaching from VidIQ with ideas and recommendations specifically for my channel.
But for now, all we need is this free Chrome extension and we can find some popular videos like this one.
Now we need to check out 'most viewed,' focusing on views per hour.
You can pick from the past 7 days. We're talking videos with millions of views - like Mr Beast.
Well, in the past 7 days it's been this video with over 373k views called My Daughter Survives WORLD'S STRICTEST PARENTS on Jordan Matter's channel. We want the most viral videos only, so let's stick to this one for now.
Now, here's the twist: the videos that we are following today says that you'll be making money by watching videos but REALLY, you're not the one watching these videos.
Instead, your job is to attract other users to watch these viral videos.
The idea since these videos are already going viral, people do like them, so it should be easy to get more viewers for them. And your role is just to help boost their views and get paid for it.
Next, they suggested that we need to use the thumbnail from the viral video, it kind of makes sense because on TH-cam, this thumbnail helps the video get viral, so there must be something in this image that makes people click.
On the next step, they suggest that we use TH-cam-thumbnail-grabber.com to Download the thumbnail. Well, that's easy, just submit the URL of the video here and download the image in the best resolution.

Yes you can but the same keyword shoukd be used in different pin titles. And pins shouldn't be linked to the same page all the time

Why shorten the link? Nobody is typing it. They click the link and have no idea how long it is? What is the reason for shortening the clickable link?
That's how this website that is supposed to pay for the views on the videos, is tracking traffic and attributes it to your account. If you are sending traffic to your own videos on TH-cam, obviously you don't need to short links. But this method that I tested in the video, suggested that we send traffic thought this website to videos of other people and then that site was supposed to pay us on average 11 USD per 1000 views for US based audience.
Pinterest blocked me for shorten links said it's what spammers used I spoke to one of their operators. I told them amazon gives these shorten links and I screened shot it he said I can't do that I spend alot of time on that page but they didn't open it again though I'm not a pro. I'll check out the op teachings Pinterest organic seo is good I had alot of views though no sales for amazon affiliates.

Yes, you can grow traffic on Pinterest in a niche that is good for this platform (fitness is good by the way), and in that case you should expect to see some significant traffic by 6-8 months of working on your account. I have a comment from a subscriber on one of my videos, it was around the end of 2023, she was in fashion and lifestyle niche and gained enough traffic to get accepted to Mediavine (means she had over 50,000/mo sessions) with 90% of that traffic from Pinterest, and it took her just 4 months. So yes it is possible for sure.
