No matter where you stand when it comes to TMNT, i think the one thing EVERY part of the fanbase can agree on...the intro for this show is ABSOLUTE PEAK TMNT. The energy, cheesiness, action and personality, i feel it manages to fit on EVERY version of the turtles, at least the animated ones.
I met Michelangelo's voice actor a few months ago!!! He was so awesome! He also voiced Joey Wheeler, Cyrus Trusdale, Dartz, and other Yu-Gi-Oh characters too!
The first time binging the series and seeing the voice credits on the Turtlepedia, I did notice a large amount of anime dub voice actors on the show, especially from the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. Greg Abbey, Wayne Grayson, Veronica Taylor, Darren Dunstan, Dan Green, Marc Thompson, Tara Sands, and so many others! Early 2000s star power!
also as far as "a story where Saki is their cool uncle"... It takes a hell of a minute to get to it but IDW turtle comics DO have you covered on that front.
While I love MANY things about this incarnation of the IP, I will admit the later movies and tv shows giving the turtles different body types does make for stronger visual characterization and reading silhouettes in low lighting.
I think the 2003 turtles were the best of all of them story wise, but I have a soft spot for 2018, 2007, and 2012. I wish we had more time with the 2007 and 2018 versions of the TMNT.

You know, after watching Deadpool and Wolverine, and that joke about the comic accurate sized Wolverine, made me remember that the turtles are originally also supposed to be around the same size and height as Wolverine from the comics. That’s why other human characters like April, Casey and the Shredder are much taller than they are. The Michael Bay ninja turtles are probably as tall as they’ve ever been.
this show is one that if you know the Mirage comics well, you will not be shocked at the twists but will be shocked they did them. also, opening of ep 1 is the opening of issue 1 of the Mirage books (edit) the show being more based on the Mirage comics is why things remind you of the 1990's movie as it's also based on those comics

It actually was. If I remember right there was at least a 1-month break before they released the next episode.
yes back when it originally aired they would just do re runs of previous episodes in the mean time
1:25:25 I had the Shredder Strikes episodes on VHS and watched them repeatedly as a kid. To the point I could probably quote the entirety of each episode.
I'm so happy that you are reacting to this particular series of TMNT! Its a shame that others didn't want to join you.
(At 3:43:40) a cartoon that's Soo good and designed, it's ALMOST mistaken for anime.
I can't wait for your season 2 watch! I enjoyed this one. Also at 3:21:27 it looks like Splinter MURDERED Hun through your glasses 🤣🤣🤣
(At 2:32:20) This is clearly the same as what happened in 1990 movie, but instead of Raphael (still to this day, THAT scene in 1990 did it better) *Leonardo's* getting jumped and defenestrated in April's apartment, like in the comics.
TMNT 2003 my favourite all time 😊
I met Michelangelo's voice actor a few months ago!!!
Please do the rest of this series. It deserves more attention.
lol i loved watching this, Sonic X and Kirby right back at ya every saturday morning at 6am! man i miss the old days when i was happy
Do we tell this guy the Garbage Man backstory?
Please be considerate of us old gamers, bringing up that ptsd causing goddamn swimming level with no warning (love the video your solo watches rule)
also as far as "a story where Saki is their cool uncle"... It takes a hell of a minute to get to it but IDW turtle comics DO have you covered on that front.
While I love MANY things about this incarnation of the IP, I will admit the later movies and tv shows giving the turtles different body types does make for stronger visual characterization and reading silhouettes in low lighting.
Agreed
2:41:03 never noticed that one foot ninja just gets deleted after he hits the ground, lol

Went to sleep watching imdontai woke up to 32:14 ninja turtles…..
This TMNT intro is undoubtedly the best one
Glad y’all watching this TMNT series but I rlly wish the whole crew saw this
I think the 2003 turtles were the best of all of them story wise, but I have a soft spot for 2018, 2007, and 2012. I wish we had more time with the 2007 and 2018 versions of the TMNT.
TMNT 2003 is soooooo god damn good!
If you couldn’t tell already the professor is voiced by Dan Green
Please please please keep watching these. This was my TMNT growing up and its so nice taking a trip down memory lane.
Hey, it's my favorite show! Always glad to see my beloved 03 turtles get more attention, this show is CRIMINALLY underrated. Thanks so much for posting this, it was a treat to enjoy it again along with you. Hope you consider at least covering it until season 4, after that is when it goes from being a masterpiece to being good, but flawed, imo.
3:31:41 I was waiting for you’re reaction to this moment
20:00 DareDevil and TMNT are born
51:47
Robot Voice, *Power Rangers Reference: Spotted!*
(At 3:12:55) I can't tell if he's saying "I'm so worried" or "I'm so proud" with tears.
I been hyped for this 🐢🐢🐢🐢
@@DealXGaming "One, two, three, four! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!"
BEST TMNT EVER
I hope you continue with this
I've seen this show partially as a kid and then never again. Where can you watch this show?
2:28:30
Kirby sure left his mark, be it comic or animation.
This show is by far my favourite TMNT show.
this show is one that if you know the Mirage comics well, you will not be shocked at the twists but will be shocked they did them. also, opening of ep 1 is the opening of issue 1 of the Mirage books
(edit) the show being more based on the Mirage comics is why things remind you of the 1990's movie as it's also based on those comics
1:50:36 Mikey said the breaks were out earlier.
Watched this series religiously before going to school. Along with Spiderman the animated series. Was a dope era of cartoons.
I watched almost all TMNT but 2003 is the one I grew up with he most
The show that got me into TMNT.
Yessss I Love this and always love the reactions as well.
This was my show groeing up from age 12 to 30 still love it
Glad u enjoyed this , hope u and company check out the rest of the series , and the other shows.
I love all things TMNT but this version was my favorite
Show helped define my childhood, alongside Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon, and Batman the Animated Series. Crazy how still great it is after all this time.
