John Cena as US Champion back in 2015 was incredible. The whole US Championship Open Challenge where he was putting on bangers with guys like Ambrose, Owens, Cesaro, Ryder, and others was excellent.
Cesaro had a horrible run with the belt. Sure he held the title for a long time but he had mo memorable feuds or matches. It barely elevated him and did not elevate any one else
@@shadowking8084He fits in the same category as Cesaro when it comes about their U.S. Title reigns. Sure they were both long, but both reigns sucked and there weren't many memorable matches and/or moments.
John cena should go for the I.C Title, the only Title he hasn't won. This will not only make him a grand slam champion, but also finish his career with a great title run and elevate the title even more. But I won't be disappointed if he won the us title, as it is once again a prop
@azrael_ao1 I don't think Gunther should lose it to Cena, Gunther should lose it to like someone everyone hates, such as dominik (I know he lost) but like everyone would hate it more if the JD interfered and hit their finishers and dom frogsplashed for the win. Then Cena can dethrone dom. Then Gunther can challenge Cena for the title again and they have a great sportsmanship match and Gunther wins and could possibly turn face
Rusev also deserves a mention. Although he was pushed as a foreign heel, he made the US title important as he went on a monster run as US Champ. He also made that awesome entrance as US Champ with a freaking tank. Also his second US title run was also decent. He brought prestige to the title before losing to Cena.
I would place Benoit on this list, he wasn’t in any major feuds for the title but he always kept up his in ring prowess to the highest ability and made sure to wear the title like it was truly his. His last Mania is a good match between him and MVP for the US title too.

Cena is a 5x US Champion,His next reign would be his 6th US TITLE. Booker T didn’t win the US Title on the last Nitro,He won the WCW Title. You really don’t do any research. Do you just guess these stats?
It crazy how today which ever clown wins the US title(doesn't matter theory or logan or anyone else) starts calling himself as the greatest US champion of all time! As if there's no one better than em LOL😂 There are not in 1% of that John Cena US title reign or Eddie Guerrero's US title matches! I dare say, KO wouldn't be where he is with without Cena's US title run. What a way to announce your main roster arrival.
@@jimbo_1312I’d say it would’ve taken a bit longer for him to be where he is now without that masterpiece of an introduction.

John Cena as US Champion back in 2015 was incredible. The whole US Championship Open Challenge where he was putting on bangers with guys like Ambrose, Owens, Cesaro, Ryder, and others was excellent.
FACTS.
And against Stardust too
The late 90s WCW version of the U.S. title belt is my favorite design. Looked so prestigious
Always pleased to see Booker get some appreciation.

I'd say 2014-2015 was Cena's absolute peak when it comes to giving us classic matches.
2014-2017 tbh. The aj styles matches were bangars as well

Cena has always been that way his whole career dude revolutionized the business he was the guy
Cena's best part of his career was 04 until 2013 really that was his prime imo . 14/15 i wasn't watching but heard he had good matches.

Randy Orton needs to win the USA title to become a grand slam champ. How strange lol
THE ring general should drop the title to someone who will benefit from it. Cena and orton do not need the title.
