The good old days when the old track was perhaps the most exciting race of the year. Remember watching this live on British TV with Roberts at his best. Great season long battle between Kenny and Freddie.
i'm pretty sure i was at this one but it might have been '82 my memory isn't great now and we attend so many of these classics back in the day, so its difficult to remember, any programs have long been lost in house moves but i do have some photos in a biscuit box in the loft. The assen tt was always about the party in the town the night before the race
