From the many statues surrounding the city to its incredible historic old town and fortress, this city has so much to offer and it has quickly become one of my favorite cites in the Balkans. Please only use the name Macedonia. Our name was forcefully changed to north Macedonia and we don’t recognise the word “north” here.
Macedonia was never Greek and Alexander himself was Macedonian and not Greek. Don’t let the Greek and Bulgarian propaganda confuse you.
