Welcome to this full line cab ride in Zürich, Switzerland! Join me on the bus line 42 heading out from the ETH campus on Hönggerberg towards the northern Suburb of Seebach. This line passes through the adjacent city of Affoltern on its way to Seebach, before crossing through a quite rural looking perimeter of the city before regaining the centre of Kreis 11. This bus line is brand new, launched to complement the line 40 and line 80 on different segments of this line, as many students use it to cut across to the ETH campus in a short amount of time. Normally at Glaubtenstrasse Nord is where you can change from the line 40 to 80 to get there, but at peak times only there is now this brand new dedicated line, that launched at the end of December with the new yearly timetable. Thank you Hugo for all the extremely interesting background information to this new route. But one correction: 'Route: Hermetschloo - Kienastenwies' is clearly wrong! After reading your background information I then looked up both the timetable and the exact route taken on the ZVV website. Finally, I then enjoyed the ride!
