Castlepoint Storm

Between the 15th & 18th August 2011 a winter storm hit New Zealand bringing freezing temperatures and snow to sea level. Strong winds dragged big swells out of the South Pacific Ocean to hit the coastal reef at Castlepoint on the SE coast of the North Island.
