"The Vagueness Of The Affair Is STARK!" Piers Morgan's Panel Reacts To David Beckham's Netflix Doc

  • Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by former footballer Alexi Lalas and comedian James Barr to discuss and react to David Beckham's new Netflix documentary which reveals a lot about his footballing career and his life including meeting his wife and member of the 'Spice Girls' Victoria Beckham and some of the controversies with the heavy media coverage they faced.
Piers suggests that David Beckham was an overrated player when compared to some of the great players in that period. Alexi responds that he feels the brand of Beckham is just as interesting as his playing career but finds it strange that the big story about the alleged affair Beckham had with Rebecca Loos was only briefly mentioned but never went into more detail.
James says he wanted more focus on Victoria and her time as a member of the Spice Girls and suggests the documentary is "boring".

My respect for David Beckham and his wife Victoria has risen quite a bit after watching this doc. They worked hard to get where they are and they deeply respect family. He was right to keep any affair private - it’s none of our business, really. They came across as honest and sincere, unlike those”other” ex royals in Montecito, who haven’t worked at all-except for one hour per week-and constantly trash everyone and everything except those who can bring them the money they want for doing nothing. Give me David and Victoria any day over hazbeen and neverwas.

Real Madrid tripled thier earnings just on shirt sales and TV rights after signing him, the "Galactico's" themselves said they'd never seen anything like it.
Piers is a weird guy sometimes, he was in the media so there's no way he's forgotten how big the frenzy was surrounding them back in the 90's early 00's, he's bitter for some reason. There's no way he's forgotten how the media were back then, the hatred and vitriol spurred on by the media after he messed up against Argentina, the hanging, burning effigy of Beckham in the street. He was the most talked about and most hated man in England at that time, and then the most talked about and most loved man after the Greece game, it was different back then, crazy stuff. I was a kid when Beckham was a superstar. While I wasn't a football fan back then, he was indeed a huge name in football. Hard working, family orientated couple. Never farmed their kids out to nannies, like a lot of celebs do.

I heard a rumour that something much worse happened between them and Beckham gave the Rebecca Loos story to the tabloids as a kind of offering, in exchange for them leaving the other, much more scandalous story (which I won't mention) alone. Apparently this is a fairly well known, open secret. If true, I respect him for protecting his wife in that way.

I did not know they existed until Instagram~~ Royalty? I did watch the Documentary. I did find it amazing how they were treated in their own country. Soccer is not huge in the USA.
Although the Spice Girls were very popular here.

Well, won’t be ‘liking’ this video. First, boycotted Netflix. As with HAM series, content isn’t based on facts provided by impartial creator. And secondly; James Barr opinions are so diluted by woke perspective, I’ll pass.

I loved Beckham documentary. The really boring thing was the H and M documentary. The differences between both documentaries show a couple of successful people against one of resentful people, without friends, without family, without any interest at all.

I will not be watching, as I truly couldn't care less about these two & never have. They covered the mags/headlines for the entire noughties & I couldn't stand them then, either. Both are just trying to cling onto the last bit of celebrity they have, which is pretty sad when they don't need the cash. There was never anything relatable to Posh, ever. They aren't even honest; honesty I could get behind.
