In five years the Chiefs have been the number one seed three times, been to five AFC championships, won two out of three superbowls, and their QB has been league MVP twice. If they aren’t a dynasty then dynasties don’t exist in the NFL.
5 AFCCGs, 3 Superbowls and 2 rings in 5 years is almost unmatched historically, but I think KC needs a third ring in the next 3-4 seasons to be a dynasty.

You could argue the early 90s Bills a 'dynasty' of sorts - despite having no SB wins. I think the Chief's last five years would stand as a minor dynasty when looked back on even if they regressed from this point. Win or lose, they have been remarkable in NFL history already and involved in some of the greatest, most entertaining games.

I was one of those people because of the amount of hate shown to jalen hurts and the eagles for being frauds ready to be exposed in the post season. He’s given us the credit we deserve and if he doesn’t switch up on us like he did after we won in 2017 I won’t be in the comments again.

And fast forwarding a few years Mahomes would need to win a couple with a new supporting cast (post Travis Kelce) and a new head coach. I don’t think Reid will stick around for Mahomes’ entire run, so winning with whoever the next head coach is would be the cherry on top.

As a Chiefs fan the first one after 50 years was amazing. This one is amazing also. In the 90s the Chiefs were good enough to get to the playoff and a couple AFC championships but there would all ways have something go wrong. Now the Chiefs are the best team in the NFL year after year but I know that anything could happen to this run the Chiefs are on. Cap space injuries coaching changes ect. Thats the NFL anything can happen. I would love to see the Chiefs and Mahomes over throw Brady and the Patroits but thats not realistic but if Mahomes could win 5 that would be awsome. Chiefs are the Champs!

Nick is right: The Chiefs have had a significant role in all five seasons that Mahomes has been QB, (5 straight AFC Championship appearances resulting in 3 AFC Championships, 3 SB appearances and 2 SB Wins). You can't win them all but, those numbers mean that they're always the team to beat while most teams are 'one hit wonders'. The Chiefs are anything but that. Every team should be worried about the Chiefs during the regular and postseason. The Bangles underestimated them and lost. Just about every sports show voted for the Eagles to win and in the end, they lost. They seem to forget, even an injured Mahomes is a dangerous Mahomes and this 2nd SB win proves it.

He picked Mahomes' first 5 years over Brady's first 5 years of course. Because the other 2 years, Chiefs were in overtime in the AFC championship, while NE lost in the divisional round and didn't even make the playoffs in their other two years. Basically, two 1sts, one 2nd, and two 3rds is a better overall set of placements than three 1sts, one 5th, and one 14th. If two teams were being seeded based on placements like that from a season, Mahomes' first 5 years would absolutely get him the better seed than Brady's first 5 years.

I think we're undervaluing the talent currently in the NFL as well as the college talent coming in to the NFL in the near future. The coaches are getting smarter and the qb talent is evolving. Bryce Young and CJ Stroud are coming into the league next year and the year after that, Caleb Williams. If these young qbs get in the right environment with the right coach, it's going to be a problem. Also Burrow and the bengals, Allen and the Bills, Herbert and the Chargers, Lawrence and the jags all are getting better and if they ever figure it out, then it isn't going to be about the Chiefs falling off, it's going to be about other teams being just as good and matching there level of exellence

This title is misleading. He didn't deny it. He even said he liked it when Bradshaw said it. So he agreed with it more than he "denied" it. He just said he wouldn't say that since they're still going. As Nick pointed out, he wouldn't even say he's the best quarterback in the league right now either though that's not even disputed.
