Again FABULOUS!!! What I was struck by here in this presentation was…their work…both brothers, but Jose in particular, made me think of Norman Rockwell illustrations. I couldn’t get away from it. To a lesser degree, Howard Pyle also. I wonder if they were both familiar with Aranda’s work? Being an illustrator myself, I was struck by how much his work felt like illustrations. The movement of figures and the attention to details of settings. Wonderful stuff. Thanks again for all your work.
So many great artist, but this family is amazing. What a pleasure it must have been to live that situation. Thanks for publishing. Appreciated as always.
Excellent presentation. Spain produced many excellent painters during the XIX century. One of them was José Gallegos y Arnosa (1857-1917) who would make a nice subject for a video.
Very nice presentation ! Please, don't say José Aranda, but José Jiménez or José Jiménez Aranda. This is how last names work in the Spanish speaking or the Lusophone world. If you google José Jiménez, you'll have a big heap of unrelated answers, as if you type John Smith, so type both last names 😉
Jose Jimenez Aranda's artwork appeals to me more than his brother. I saw his portrait of Joaquin Sorolla in your presentation when you spoke about Jose's time in Paris. Was Jose's portrait of Sorolla done when Jose was in Paris? Thanks.

What a wonderful discovery!
I enjoyed it immensely, 🙏🏽

Another great video of two unknown (to me, at least) suburb craftsmen. So happy I discovered this channel.
Welcome aboard!
Brilliant!! Bravi!!!! I didn't know the Amanda brothers; so, thank you. (Lucia is pronounced loo-CHEE-a)
what an incredible artist, thank you so much for presenting him and his brother
Very reminiscent of Norman Rockwells work.
Congrats on 11k subscribers!!!

Excellent video.
Is contemporary Spanish artist Sergio Aranda of Madrid related to the three brothers ?

In Paris? Not sure about his portrait of Jose -when painted or where.
