I started watching your sermons when I was 12 before you had any books out and before you were so famous, and now I'm 29 and still watching your sermons almost two decades later, I grew up with your voice, I didn't have any parents, no dad, and no family, it might sound weird but when I hear your voice I cry sometimes because I grew up with you encouraging me and my walk with God and you were kind of like a parental figure to me and a positive influence I definitely didn't have from any adult in my life, you were kind of like a dad to me and I really appreciate it, I'm very thankful to God he had me find you that day just flipping through channels 18 years ago

You're so true Tyler, I have always blamed myself for every bad thing that happens in my home, when I was a child felt guilty that I accepted my father's lover. Growing up I felt I never measure up to my mother's expectations, still do. As an adolescent I felt guilty for not been more commited to school, and not been pretty enough for the guy I liked... God was preventing me from been that guys girlfriend, I got involved with him as an adult and I even stole from my mother to meet his expectations, thank to God He literally made that man disappear from my life... I have been blaming myself all my life for every single mistake instead of learning and moving on. This words from Joel have touched my mind and heart

Dear pastor Joel Osteen I am my own enemy and this sermon was exactly what I needed to hear this morning June 22,2022. I have not loved myself since I was very little and I didn't understand why I couldn't find anyone else to love me! Or find a good friend. A person actually said to me that nobody else has to beat me up or be mean to me because I am the meanest person to myself! I'm going to be 49 this year and I have always held on to every mistake I've made or hated my life due to traumatic events and I at one point wished I never was born. My 7 year old son was killed in a car crash that I was the driver of the car. I told the family secret that caused division and I have held guilt for so many years, I was addicted to drugs but I have been given a new chance through Christ Jesus! I am learning slowly about the Love of God and Jesus Christ, and having a hard time learning to love myself and accept myself. This has kept me from going to a church building because I don't feel worthy to walk in the doors. Thank you for letting me know that God knew me and all the things I would do and loved me anyway. He has been opening doors that I thought could never be opened! Thanks be to God and his Grace, I am going to work harder and pray that God helps me to love myself and let go of my past mistakes and learn to be thankful that I am uniquely made by God and loved exactly the way I am! Praise God on the Highest. And Thank you always pastor Joel Osteen for bringing the message to me.
I was diagnosed with 2 mental disorders that had 7 other classified mental health problems with it and I constantly question why was I made this way. God made me perfect no matter what the doctors say no Matter what diagnosis they gave. I am blessed and highly favored by my Lord 🙏🏾
Be careful with those mental diagnoses. You can get different diagnoses from different professionals. I have a PhD in Psychology, and I've seen this happen. This time next year, in the Lord, they may even have vanished or been explained and conquered. 'God has not given to us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a SOUND MIND'. Have faith, explore your psyche with Jesus.

Imagine god telling you that you are absolutely perfect already, and that you are worthy and capable of only the best, and SEE and hear yourself agreeing with God. Something will happen inside of you, where you will recieve people treating you as your newly accepted self image. I've done this, and it can happen in a quick and miraculous way. Just believe it.
You have to believe in your heart and mind, trust that God is working on it, and declare victory in His name no matter what your eyes see or your mind tries you to doubt. Jesus is Great and will prove you right whenever you trust Him!
Well, I do too. Since I was born with a seizure disorder, it's a little hard for me to get it. Because, I can't find a soulmate. I am not legally fit to drive. I've had several jobs through my lifetime. I'm unable to find my other. You know what I mean by that. I'm under the impression that I'll die alone. I do not mean with or have my family on my bed side when it happens. However, I do attend services on a weekly basis. So, I'm under the impression that some of them are going to be there when the time comes.

Sometimes abuse is soft words that are negative. Sometimes abuse is treating yourself like you are not worth anything. Abuse comes in all forms, but when God approved your existence, believe that He is in control, and the time will come when you will look back and thank God for been alive and what He's done for you

Truly, preserving your joy and happiness combined with positive self affirmation is a great contribution to success. Even the science agrees, 33% of your success or failure is self fulfilling prophecies. I don't understand why science is still so dismissive of faith and religion when their own studies reflect the truth at them.
Mine is the complete opposite. I give too much love, encouragement and care to other people and completely neglect myself and that is very dangerous. Pray for me to stop being extremely selfless .

Understand, you have fault and it's called sin. The Bible tells us "for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God". What Joel teaches is not biblical. I see nowhere in scripture that supports this teaching. It is not about loving ourselves, it is about loving God and others "like yourself". There is a big difference. Scripture gives no promise of success in our life, at least not earthly success. This is a lie of Satan. Salvation comes ONLY one way and that is through Christ and his death on the cross.

at the start of the year i was going through a rough breakup finally free from a toxic relationship but i was in deep grief i also had severe crippling ocd and covid crying on my bed in pain physical mental and emotional i was distant from god then i heard one of Joels messages playing it was my mom in the next room watching a video something along the lines of dont worry youre in the hands of god i got up and listened carefully i felt reborn like ive found my will and strength again i really did i found god again i turned my life around ill forever be greatful for these messages keep doing the great work joel

Pastor J Osteen gave a preaching on television and after watching,i felt touched..am working on my self and outside social circuits..am feeling a change.God bless us as we work on it.
Every sermon I hear, I feel like it’s always tailored towards myself and my life. In whatever area I am weak/lacking, I lean on the word in this form and it renews my strength. Those dry bones (soul) start to not be dry anymore, I can then feel the rivers of everlasting life replenished.

I started watching your sermons when I was 12 before you had any books out and before you were so famous, and now I'm 29 and still watching your sermons almost two decades later, I grew up with your voice, I didn't have any parents, no dad, and no family, it might sound weird but when I hear your voice I cry sometimes because I grew up with you encouraging me and my walk with God and you were kind of like a parental figure to me and a positive influence I definitely didn't have from any adult in my life, you were kind of like a dad to me and I really appreciate it, I'm very thankful to God he had me find you that day just flipping through channels 18 years ago

You're so true Tyler, I have always blamed myself for every bad thing that happens in my home, when I was a child felt guilty that I accepted my father's lover. Growing up I felt I never measure up to my mother's expectations, still do. As an adolescent I felt guilty for not been more commited to school, and not been pretty enough for the guy I liked... God was preventing me from been that guys girlfriend, I got involved with him as an adult and I even stole from my mother to meet his expectations, thank to God He literally made that man disappear from my life... Dear pastor Joel Osteen I am my own enemy and this sermon was exactly what I needed to hear this morning June 22,2022. I have not loved myself since I was very little and I didn't understand why I couldn't find anyone else to love me! Or find a good friend. A person actually said to me that nobody else has to beat me up or be mean to me because I am the meanest person to myself! I'm going to be 49 this year and I have always held on to every mistake I've made or hated my life due to traumatic events and I at one point wished I never was born. My 7 year old son was killed in a car crash that I was the driver of the car. I told the family secret that caused division and I have held guilt for so many years, I was addicted to drugs but I have been given a new chance through Christ Jesus! I am learning slowly about the Love of God and Jesus Christ, and having a hard time learning to love myself and accept myself. This has kept me from going to a church building because I don't feel worthy to walk in the doors. Thank you for letting me know that God knew me and all the things I would do and loved me anyway. He has been opening doors that I thought could never be opened! Thanks be to God and his Grace, I am going to work harder and pray that God helps me to love myself and let go of my past mistakes and learn to be thankful that I am uniquely made by God and loved exactly the way I am! Praise God on the Highest. And Thank you always pastor Joel Osteen for bringing the message to me.

Be careful with those mental diagnoses. You can get different diagnoses from different professionals. I have a PhD in Psychology, and I've seen this happen. This time next year, in the Lord, they may even have vanished or been explained and conquered. 'God has not given to us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a SOUND MIND'. Have faith, explore your psyche with Jesus.

Well, I do too. Since I was born with a seizure disorder, it's a little hard for me to get it. Because, I can't find a soulmate. I am not legally fit to drive. I've had several jobs through my lifetime. I'm unable to find my other. You know what I mean by that. I'm under the impression that I'll die alone. I do not mean with or have my family on my bed side when it happens. However, I do attend services on a weekly basis. So, I'm under the impression that some of them are going to be there when the time comes.

Abuse comes in all forms, but when God approved your existence, believe that He is in control, and the time will come when you will look back and thank God for been alive and what He's done for you

at the start of the year i was going through a rough breakup finally free from a toxic relationship but i was in deep grief i also had severe crippling ocd and covid crying on my bed in pain physical mental and emotional i was distant from god then i heard one of Joels messages playing it was my mom in the next room watching a video something along the lines of dont worry youre in the hands of god i got up and listened carefully i felt reborn like ive found my will and strength again i really did i found god again i turned my life around ill forever be greatful for these messages keep doing the great work joel
