@edhubbs thats the nicest thing i heard anyone say inawhile. THERES A ARTIST INSIDE ME THAT WANTS TO COME OUT AND I WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN WHERE TO START WITHOUT SOMEONE LIKE YOU :) SO *THANKS* FOR MAKING THESE VIDS FROM ALL THE WAY FROM GERMANY!!! ;)
;) I Love that name: "Chevelle"! I tried my hand at airbrushing years ago. I think I will try again! You gave me 'Inspiration"! Thank you, Great videos! :)
@Deathhunter992 AIr compressor,spray guns,air brushes,sand paper,masking paper,tape,sealer,mid coat,clear,buffing supplies,buffer,booth,and all of the paints that you are wanting to spray.
The part where you pulled the sticker off at the start would look so good as an intro for your store name if it was done in running writing, awesome video once again (:
I to am finding it very difficult to get any info, I have experienced the same as you have.So I get a lot of dvd's and books and make a lot of mistakes till I get it figured out. I will say that the Videos I get from Chicago airbrush supply have been very helpful,as well as your U-Tube videos.Thanks for sharing your knowledge
Ed do you only use iWata? I got an iWata HP-BCS (You recommended to a year ago) and I absolutely love it. It's very easy to use and take apart. In shopping for a gravity feed I went to a badger, couldnt really get the hang of this one and the needle is wayyyyy thin. So I'm gonna shoot for an iWata gravity feed now i suppose. Can you give any further advice for gravity feeds?
@tommybarresi Self taught,actually no one would show you a thing about air brushing.That is the reason I will show any one who wants to learn. I will not treat any one the same way as I was treated when I wanted to learn so bad.
Yes, good job. I am wondering what something like that costs. I am guessing that someone like me ends up with original emblems because we can't afford to have that done. Nice....but probably for the money I would stick to stock.
what kind of decal(sticker) are you using?how should i search it? the problem i have with the kind of stencils i get is that when i take them of there is a lot of glue staying on the piece, which is a big problem.. sorry for my english thanks
Your skills are impressive! Thanks for sharing the video. I use an Iwata Eclipse. I've heard you mention the Micron. Would you explain why you choose one over the other? Also, when you say you reduce 200%, do you mean 2 parts reducer to 1 part paint?
Ed, around how long did it take you to develop this technique? also, did you go to art school or are you self taught or had a mentor perhaps? thanks for all you share sir
There are several components to getting a good result. One resource I discovered which succeeds in merging these is the Magic Painter Method (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the most useful info i've seen. Check out this unbelievable resource.
i think also, as long as you are super careful and going really light that its better to do it without any masking cause you kind of want nice fogged edges for shadows... in my humble opinion anyway.
Definitely is really cool and you've got major talent. One question.....Why? You have real emblems to put on there. Why use painted emblems. Is it to be different? That's cool. I could see a more practical solution being if emblems are not available or doing a custom shape or letters.
hi nice jobb man.. i would be happy if u can't help me out. .i want to paint fishing lures and need a airbrush mashine. wich can you recommend me. thx greetings from Croatia
It would be good if it offers the files to cut-out of these videos for anyone who is starting with aerography, as is my case, it would be good for me and others here in Brazil training with their videos. Congratulations on your beautiful artwork.

Cool way to debadge a car without actually debadging it. Or maybe a replacement if you can't find any for a restorer. They looked awesome to.

It looks easy until you try it. But no worries, after 80-100 attempts easy peasy! lol
I used to airbrush a while back and I would have went with a darker look to the emblems to make it look more realistic n laid off the blue
Used too. Hahaha
Amazing as always.
@spidiq8 Thanks for watching.

@ya671u Awesome,that is what I like to hear.
The artwork is phenomenal, but what advantage does this have over just printing out a decal?
Which Micron are you using? The .18 or the .23
I find your videos extremely helpful. Thank You for sharing your talent.
