- This video explains the changes that are needed to add the new generation of cameras to Fibaro Home Center 2.
The same applies to HC3 and all the URL codes are the same too.

Thank you very much for your very clear experience... We had it working, but only half.. now it works on as well HC2 as well HC3 as a charm
Much Kuddo's !
no probs. as far as i know the streams havent changed at all. i am still using the same for last few years
Hey, thanks for the vídeo. Are you recording in NVR Hikvision? What model?
Yes I record all the video to the nvr.
I have the 7716 model but you would get the model you need for the number of channels you need.
Hello, please recommend me which model of Hikvision outdoor camera should I buy to be compatible with fibaro. Thank you.
Hi
As long as the camera is triple stream then they will all work.
Hi Guys - this is all good stuff but can I ask if there is anything additional to be done in order for the email jpeg functionality to work? Thanks...
Hi
email jpeg works fine and no need to do anything else.
The command i use is this:
fibaro:call(ID,"sendPhotoToUser", "2")
where ID is the camera ID number in fibaro
2 is the user ID in above example the superuser admin account
this works all the time
@@YorkshireAutomation Hi Again - thanks for your help. It seems I still have an issue somewhere.
This works;
fibaro:call(2, "sendEmail", "sample", "sample")
Yet this doesn't;
fibaro:call(201, "sendPhotoToUser", "2")
Must be a camera setting as my old IP Cam is fine.
I have followed your steps in the video to match your config.
Anyway...no drama...I'll figure something out.
Cheers...
@@ivaciske The first statement is a general email message to user 2, which is admin.
the 2nd statement should have worked. 201 is the ID of your IP cam. the 2 is the user ID so that will be the email address of the superuser.
Hello, I have a Hikvision DVR. Is there any way I can integrate the individual analog cameras into fibaro?
im sorry but as far as i know only IP cameras can be integrated into fibaro
Hi! How to get rtsp camera (C3W for example) to be added to HC? I think the biggest thing is how to get rtsp to http. Thank you in advance!
unfortunately only mjpeg streams supported in fibaro
Hi, integration protocol tab is not showing on advanced settings
And video encoding only showing H.264 and H.265
Max. Nitrate can be choose maximum 2048 kbps
How can i find both paths ?
Thank you
Which camera do you have? The hivision range isn't triple stream. Most of the hikvision cameras are. Your camera also has to support mjpeg
Y A,
I have DS-2CD2123G0-1 2MP and DS-2CD2043G0-1 4MP ip cameras
Can i add NVR to HC2 or HC3?
@@a360d7 just had a look at your cameras and it does look like they are triple stream cameras which support MJPEG so therefore should be able to add into HC2 and HC3. Just follow the video again.
The NVR, as far as i know cannot be added to the HC just the cameras themselves
Thank you so much for this Video. It helped me to set up my cameras properly. Would you please make video about GPS scenes or geofencing option? I was trying to activate scenes and devices based on GPS position of my devise, but it still does not work. Many thanks in advance.
Hi
thanks for your comments.
unfortunately the gps is still a bit hit and miss. once it becomes more reliable i will be doing a demo
Hello
Sorry for my english i am french 😂😅
what is the url jpg and mpeg to register in the home center 2 ?
Please :)
Thank you 😆🤙🏼
Hi
Streaming/channels/1/picture
Streaming/channels/102/Preview
@@YorkshireAutomation Thank you
Does is it work with other ip cameras like lorex or only work on hikvision?
Hi
Most IP cameras work with hc2 but you need to know the streaming paths.
Input those instead of the paths I showed in the video and they should work.
Contact the manufacturer of the cameras to find out the paths
@@YorkshireAutomation Thank you very much
