- As a HUGE winter storm front moves through North America, Milwaukee Tool fans are left asking: Where's the snowblower? Despite years of anticipation, Milwaukee has yet to deliver a snow blower solution for its dedicated users. This video dives into the frustration of loyal Milwaukee Tool fans who’ve invested in the M18 and MX Fuel platforms but have no reliable snow removal tools to match.
We discuss:
❄️ Shocking stats about the dangers of snow shoveling and its impact on tradespeople.
❄️ Milwaukee's silence on snowblower development since 2020 and why this matters now more than ever.
❄️ Creative hacks, like retrofitting M18 batteries to other snow tools.
❄️ Viable alternatives from Ego, DeWALT, and Ryobi for snowblowers.
As Milwaukee Tool reaches the peak of its popularity, we question why a company based in snowy Wisconsin hasn’t addressed this critical gap in their lineup. Is it time to switch platforms, or will Milwaukee finally deliver?
💬 Let us know how you’re handling snow removal this winter. Are you sticking with Milwaukee, modifying other tools, or jumping to another platform? Drop your thoughts in the comments!

Yes Milwaukee hope you are watching this. We need a snow blower and a power washer some time in my life time. Please!
Making them affordable would be nice too lol...
Vince you hit the nail on the head with this one. I use a blade and 4 wheeler to push the driveway, but have to shovel everything else. I just looked this week for a Milwaukee offering on a snow shovel or blower that I could use. I am very disappointed in Milwaukee for this. I will keep using the shovel as I am not investing in another battery platform.
Love the channel love the content stay fresh my friend!
I have 3 gas powered snow blowers, I just purchased an ego 56v snow shovel and if Milwaukee doesn't come out with a snow shovel attachment for their quick lok system or a snow blower. They are missing a huge opportunity to make a lot of $$$ keep customers and gain new ones. This might be the last year for my gas snow blowers.
Last fall I fixed an 14 years old snow blower, gas engine...
I got the Milwaukee lawn mover and just for the reason that I want a Milwaukee snow blower with same technology....
I love my lawn mover, it's amazing. And I expect nothing less from Milwaukee with snow blower. Hope they finally make it...
The newest 60v snow shovel from Senix tools is AWESOME!! It has all the features others are missing. It has wheels, directional fins to throw to the sides, a headlight, telescopic handle length, and I’m pretty sure it’s the widest available at 15”
I get the impression they are trying to make this work on M18 because of the cost and smaller reach of the MX Fuel battery platform, but the problem is you would need something like 4-6 M18 batteries to power a single stage. DeWalt uses 2 Flexvolts running at 60v in their 21 inch single stage. And that gets crazier when you think about a potential 2 stage.
I saw the title and was like “wait… what? I like some of their stuff. I don’t want to be stranded” 😂. I still don’t have a battery powered blower. I’ve been thinking about it for several years though. I hope you guys didn’t get piled on too much in that storm. We didn’t get too much in SE Michigan, just mainly cold temps.
We don't ever seem to get much now days!
I’ve got Milwaukee M12 products, love them. I’ve got outdoor Ego mower, blower and trimmer.
I’ll never give up my gas powered 11.5hp Troy-bilt 28” 2-stage snowblower. Never.
It’s over 15 years old and looks like the day I bought it new. Never a problem. Living in Central Illinois, we get out fair share of use.
Never gonna give it up!
Gas and battery blowers, Toro gas single stage for clearing 15 driveways, Worx battery snowblower (5 yrs) for personal drive. Use a total Milwaukee setup for small lawncare business of 25 lawns.
I tried leaving trucking and getting into the trades probably put in 50 applications no response no emails and I own about every Milwaukee tool made to show I’m willing to invest in myself
I swear you made the exact video I have been pondering. Big owner/prosumer of M18. I have the mower and it's perfect for my yard, but needed a small blower and this year bit the bullet on a gas Toro blower because I couldn't wait longer!
Even Makita beat them with split shaft snow shovel attachment , now they can make 2 x 40v snow blower, they have floor cleaner and lawn aerator on 40v.
I adapted EGO’s snow shovel head on to my Milwaukee quick lock power head... One small mod and it mates up perfectly.
Milwaukee, I just gave $200 to Ego and am using their power shovel with my Milwaukee M18 QuikLok attachment system. It truly disgusts me, but it works very very well.
No snowblower and no snow shovel...for shame Team Red!
I'm still using gas and just purchased a new Ariens 28" 2 stage but oddly enough, another company made in Wisconsin. Maybe after Steve went ballistic, they scrapped the whole thing! I asked the milwaukee rep when I was in Home depot. I was told that maybe they're gonna leave the homeowner stuff to Rryobi. So I may have to cannibalize, Slash, frankenstein one myself here, maybe next year.
I have a 400’ driveway so I use a gas 2-stage snowblower plus an ATV mounted plow. I don’t want a battery powered snow blower. I would also be concerned about using lithium batteries in the 16 degree weather we are having. How long would you have to wait to recharge a dead battery because it is frozen?
Why would you leave your batteries outside for them to get frozen?
@@gabrylsisneros4791 Not sure I understand your question, but if I am outside with the snowblower for several hours in 16 degree weather what do you think will happen to the batteries?
@@lancomedic well, usually when you discharge batteries they generate heat, so it won't be at 16° regardless, also if you bring a battery from your house/ garage to outside, it's going to be at that ambient temperature from inside, so it's not going to freeze spontaneously just because you took it outside. So I guess I'm asking if you store your batteries outside so that they'd freeze in the first place?
This video gave me chills
Bet it made you run for the hills
I work in the ED so I know we will be inundated with cardiac cases this storm.
Gas blower for now. Looking into EGO since Milwaukee isn’t doing anything.
Would definitely use a battery powered snow shovel on job sites if they had an M18 version.
Just bought an Earthwise electric snow shovel (battery powered). Should be here tomorrow. Wanted something my wife could use when I'm out of town.
VCG, you have missed the whole winter snow removal lineup! First, milwaukee has the new heated jackets already released? Second they make them in the parole officers size!
Buy the warden a new jacket, while you are at HD pick up a new push shovel, maybe a set of heated gloves, milwaukee boots! Wha la, you have a decked out milwaukee snow removal system. This runs on both platforms.
Milwaukee has a few areas that they need to put more r and d into. Belt sander , router, trim router where is the biscut joiner? I think it would be really productive to double back and refine the milwaukee roots, tools that got them where they are today. Thanks guys for the video.
*_I like the use of "Wha La" in your comment._*
I usually like the bad news first
NAAAAH!!!
I'm a DeWalt guy...I don't have a snow blower per say BUT...I have a blower that will blow snow 😊
I still use a gas snowblower. IMO Milwaukee tool batteries are too small for the demands of a snowblower. They would likely need bigger outdoor rated batteries to compete with ego et al.
Milwaukee sold to a Swedish owed company in the 1990’s, I am sure they know what snow is. I am sure there is still a headquarters in Wisconsin. The brands switch owners so fast nowadays. Batteries perform poorly in cold an damp environments, could be hazardous in very wet snow, thinking of those flooded cars from the hurricane catching on fire!
I have a unique set of dealing with this issue.
I use 100 proof vodka for the cold and a 3/4 ton 4x4 Ford truck, and there is the backup plan. Stay in the house and not participate, Vodka is approved.
All jobs on a side, Milwaukee truly needs a snow blower and a 12V can opener. I'm just saying. Love the video.
🤣
I have no need for any snowblower or snowshovel. Ever!
Well thanks for watching!
If they had a snow shovel attachment similar to the one from eGO I would have bought it. I purchased the rubber broom attachment and it works for 1 inch of snow but not much help with 4 inches.
Let's put even the simple tools to a big boost to make a great advise in a shout out to success In gaining tool knowledge threw postive motivation of your own tools with a love going to vcg construction much need going more for our own construction purpose.
😊❤!
Howdy Y'all , I always want the bad news first.
Me too
Give me the bad news first always.
you right milwaukee dont have a snowblower. other companies make one.
Let it snow!
Loll Royobi sister company has it and Milwaukee doesn't.
Yeah they do!
M18, M12, and DeWalt 20/60 volt for work.
Ryobi 40v snow blower
my first drill was a blue royobi. I have some ni cases and some nimh. One or two lithium batteries. Got a dust buster. I could have bought the Ryobi shovel. I now have a set of Milwaukee tools. Lawn tools. Saw, sawzal. I was waiting for that snow blower!
It's a snow job. Vince.
Great video Dad news.
I use Greenworks 60v single stage (MA)
Atv with snow blade
Bad news first
Snow!
weird turn at the end haha
I just use my mower on the driveway...
Milwaukee is asleep. Good thing they employ Ryobi so no one's need to worry about Milwaukee. Ryobi picks up the slack for TTI. Milwaukee can't steal Ryobi customers away why diminish you own brand when they own power tool sec and Ryobi owns the outdoor sec
grab a milwaukee shovel
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
What am a still doing to supplement? Having a heart attack of course
first 20!
Usually I enjoy your videos. This one was trash.
Cause your vid quality would be so much better?. You have no videos, not real user name that puts you out there, no real profile pic and no room to talk
@@ToolReviewZonethanks for picking up, I don’t usually get this type of hate in my comments and didn’t know how to react!
Is the prize flex tools? 😁
🤣
Dude that’s their problem. They have a bunch of blonde scientist working on it. Bad idea hahaha
😮
Enough with the snow 😮
Okay
