Legend!! I had no clue the tool kit was supposed to be stored there either, had the bike coming up for 3 years now. Mines been kicking round under the pillion seat, taking up space where I would normally put a lock to take with me. I only came here to check what battery is in there as I couldn't be arsed to undo all the bolts for the seat (what a stupid way to fix it!) and went straight back outside to check the little cubby hole. The toolkit now stored in it's rightful place!
I only noticed the tool kit after spotting the little button hidden behind the frame seat bar and pulled it open by accident :-) crap tools mind, but better than nowt!

I bought a 2008 SV650S last month & never realised it had a tool kit under the battery box until I watched this video,thanks!
