@Arsenal_davidkingSo Jordan is just daft?
If Merion puts his chance away, we wouldn't be here complaining. If Martinelli put 10% more effort into his game, maybe things will he different. If we had quality attackers, we wouldn't be here comolaining.

Yep I remember in the mid 2000's all my man united mates said they were getting the next Ronaldinho. Didn't work out that way and he turned them down for Inter Milan anyway 😂
It’s NOT irrelevant that this decision will never be given again. If it was a one-off ok, there’s too many occasions of this happening. Why do we have to work twice as hard as other teams to get results? It’s not fair and is gonna cost us the title this year.
Every single corner you see players grabbing opponents right in front of the ref and it is never given as a foul.
37:20 So we are complaining about rotating the squad now this season. Last season everyone was complaining that Arteta never rotates and he's playing these guys to death. We have more injuries by January than the entirety of last season of course the team is going to change, not to mention the players who are out due to illness. Not saying other teams don't but its hard to play a consistent XI when the players aren't available for selection....
Exactly. Three of our RBs are missing.
Now that's what I call well informed and opinion based on fact and context.
We needed better players and more attacking depth you fool
Completely agree with you, but this is where frustrations creep in with a lack of transfer activity and addressing areas in the last two seasons that should have been addressed. For example, back up for Saka/someone to challenge him, back up for Odegaard, a proper Partey/Xhaka replacement.
Agree - and these lot literally see - saw opinions weekly it’s pathetic. Contradiction podcast.
I’ve never seen a manager who changes philosophy so often. One season he’s klopp, the next he’s guardiola and this time he’s a poor version of Chelsea’s mourinho. And none of them involve a proper striker.
And all of them involve us getting close but never getting over the line. Tired of it now.
@ ask yourself this. Why has the spending at Arsenal stopped once were a dead cert for top 4? The owners want sustainability at Arsenal, they don’t care about success.
More like Moyesiah than anyone else. Merino is basically his Fellaini, limited on ball, does a defensive shift, physical presence of some kind and is a nuisance in the box.
Arteta likes a set piece, just like Moyes & Pulis

@@NI-ld2iuthat’s why confuses me the most. Our football in 22/23 was so exciting and successful. How has he morphed us into this hideous defensive side? Having a defense as good as we do gives you more right to go forward and attack. Just like it didn’t for Wenger all those years ago.
@boshankers12 haha FACTS!!
Turkish makes a fantastic point.
The big game changing goal scoring players we need usually come with big egos.
Can Arteta manage big egos?
I’m not so sure he can.
So….is that an impediment to getting big name players…?
Is this why we haven’t got the big name players we need to raise our level significantly?

Lee is correct- we are playing boring regimental sideways and backwards football. This is clearly tactical direction on how we should be playing by the management as it is happening almost week in week out now for much of the game.
What do you do when teams respect you and just sit back 90pct of the time now? We don't have the players to play well against low block. Simple as
I agree with you but only partly. Our pace of play is so slow and across the pitch - U shaped tactics - that we make it very easy for teams to do this against us.
12:36 the Brazilian kerlon was the king of seal dribbling
The clubs transfer policy and refusal sign a top striker is a way bigger problem than the refs. Fact.
Arsenal have structural issues a striker can’t solve. We just don’t create nothing for a striker penalty. We’re way too slow in transition. Takes 6 passes to get down the pitch.
@antoniusdesir5585 maybe we play this way because the team know we don't have someone upfront to create for? Not making the right runs etc? If you think a striker doesn't drastically help us, you'll be happy watching us continue to fail.
@@deeray4637 once upon a time we had Auba up front and our chance creation was still poor. Structural issues and needing a striker, both things can be true.
@@tashd.a4190 it has only become an issue this season though, as last season after the dubai trip, we were flying, scored 91 goals, and with a striker probably would've gotten 100.
@@deeray4637 first half of last season it was an issue though and we've just reverted back to type.
I don't think we've ever generated enough goalscoring chances under Arteta.
At times, we're just clinical but that's different to chance creation.
Lee said VAR got back on track in the Liverpool v United game.
- Didn't review a blatant elbow from Nunez which should've resulted in a straight red
- Didn't review Van Dijk handball which was the exact same as De Ligt's
- Also not VAR related but Garnacho was flagged offside when he was 3 yards onside
How about Houiland kicking the ball away what happened to that rule has it vanished now
The reality is Arsenal has a record of being a shadow of herself since the passing of the Invincibles.
Though VAR and the ref shady officiating has caused us but our winning mentality especially against mediocres sides is highly questionable.
You are a very good fan, let them play better and stop victimising themselves in every football game thinking that the refs are against them, if Assna went on to win 3 or 4 goals against Brighton, they won’t be talking about that incident, they weren’t playing well enough to win that game, they don’t deserve to win it simple !!
I question Arteta’s vision for LCM. Our LCM is basically free from any creative responsibility and only there to crash the box + win duels hence placing more burden on Odegaard/Saka to create. Martinelli is not a wide playmaker. Is this really the best way to evolve side and get us over the line in terms of winning trophies?
We will not win the semi final v Newcastle (over both legs), Manure will beat us and we will draw v Spurs and Villa. Season will unravel due to poor chronic recruitment.
If Eddie Howe plays his first choice midfield Newcastle will embarrass Arteta!
Newcastle’s midfield play fast attacking football!
Arsenals midfield is slow ponderous boring rubbish!
Isak up front with that midfield behind him will tear Arsenal to shreds!
Arteta has royally messed it up!
Turkish is right - all comes down to a thin squad that even Mikel has admitted to - the question is why have we sat back and ignored the obvious areas. We are slowly ruining player like Rice and Califiori
It’s funny how people were crying about buying another fullback and we didn’t get enough lol
I follow both Real Madrid and Arsenal every game. Madrid also haven't been that great this season, but they don't try to walk the ball into the goal. If they are central to goal, they take shots from 20-25 yards but Arsenal don't even try.
Two seasons back though, Odegard was taking those shots. He even scored a brace against Newcastle.
Never compare these two teams. One is a machine built eternally to win titles. The other is a bit of a joke. The personnel at Madrid is immense. Fede Valverde alone is better than any Arsenal midfielder. Madrid has 3 players who have/will compete for the title of best player in the world. Arsenal? Two very different teams. In Madrid, you are OBLIGATED to win. Not Arsenal.
One team has built in institutional support, the other team has to beat the entire footballing establishment
@@jivet3919i doubt it’s that deep.
I get that Real has WC players but Arsenal possess great players without the WC status yet.
But my point is to be more unpredictable, if you are in and around the box, go for it. Even in the Brentford game Partey did that and Jesus scored on the rebound, against low block teams especially, this can work at times.
One has 15 UCL titles while the other have ZERO!!!!The Difference is so huge
“All four of us will agree that [the pen] ain’t the reason we didn’t win that game” 😂😂😂 we were winning 1-0 and shut them down then they got a pen out of thin air and we drew 1-1. Not every title winner smashes teams, especially after a busy, injury filled period where they had 48 hours rest from another tough away game. You mugs, put the 1-0 in the bag and move on.
This is why a lot of Arsenal supporters are pissing me off we were 0-1 up at the point of the non pen being given so WTF are they talking about. This mindset is exactly why they’re able to get away with blatant corruption.
I think they should of said " we all agree we should of had the ability to win the game despite the penalty " but the reason we dropped 2 point was the penalty ! We can defend a 1-0 lead playing badly.
"Not every title winner smashes teams" that's true but most title winners do end up winning titles, you know. Unlike Arsenal.
Arsenal are the only team who's not allowed to win by 1 goal these days. Dont know why people say that nonsense. Liverpool have won many games by one goal

Regardless, Jordan is a big boy, I’m sure he can take a little constructive criticism every now and then
You can't really hide behind referees and VAR when your team doesn't create and produce. 46 crosses and sideways passes are NOT creation value, 128 touches in opponents box and this whole system of "not shooting until it's a tap from 2 yards" is NOT production value.
Also, I think this dark farts thing is starting to annoy referees (not that you must please them with quick football), but wasting time on set pieces and throw ins and then complain that referees judge us harshly, might be something to take into consideration.
Kerlon was the seal dribbler

It’s ironic this James guy talking about Gabriel getting he’s shirt pulled at every corner but not mentioning that our players are fouling the opposition keeper in every corner
Putting players on the keeper, and applying pressure, isn't a foul you twerp. The arsenal players don't have arms or hands on the keeper, they get bodies around the keeper, that isn't a foul. You just want approval and acknowledgement from rival fans with your comment.
Fouling how?
@micah0190 he just wants likes and approval from rival fans. Putting players on the keeper to unsettle him, isn't a foul. No hands, feet, or arms are used to physically stop the keeper from getting to the ball, arsenal just put bodies around the keeper and use their strength to cause the keeper to flap at it.
Turkish, you hit the nail on the head with that point. Arteta does not want a player with the type of character that’s going to unsettled the dressing room or that’s going to be a bad influence. Pep is also like that. But Pep was just lucky that at the beginning of his career he had a group of players that were good humble school kids. But let’s not forget that he got rid of Ronaldinho, Eto and Ibrahimović because of the arrogance and personality they had.

merino and califori have proven to be bang average players
Califiori isnt average bro😂😂😂. Do you know what average is? Plus injuriee hamper your momentum as a player. He needs a run of games
CALIFIORI was one of our best player in that game.. stop being emotional and reactionary.. Marino is not up to the temp of this league as yet, will he ever get there, time will tell..
Merino is average, but Califiori is average, technically not being good before.
Merino is poor, but calafiori hasn't even been able to put a run of games together yet due to injury, and he has had some good performances
One’s most favourite podcast, can’t believe Xmas turkey is thy only one with common sense 👏👏👏👏, how on earth with no strikers does one expect to win when we crumble at home, much love from from new🥝🥝🥝Zealand lads and fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞🤞for thy morrow morning, cheers all gooners 🍺🍺🍺
Artetas lack of accountability is rubbing off on the fans and it's horrible. Pedro has done Saliba there and it's a stonewall penalty!
Done him how? By heading the ball against him?
@deeray4637 he flicked it up baited him in and headed past him. He gets the first touch and heads it on before Saliba for some reason tried to win a ball he was never winning there.
@ArronVallely24 You obviously haven't watched the replays have you? Saliba has touched the ball, so he hasn't flicked it past him, he has tried to do that, but saliba getting a touch on the ball means it's literally nothing more than a clash of heads. Please go and watch the replays that show this.
@@deeray4637 I've seen every angle you've seen trust me. The ball brushes off Salibas hair stop clutching at straws and that was only because Pedro got to the ball and flicked it past him like I already said.
@ArronVallely24 so now because the ball only brushes salibas head, it means it didn't make contact with saliba? Lol. Contact on the ball is contact on the ball. If this was a penalty, explain how kulusevski clattering Gordon wasn't?
First time Jordan seems like a proper Arsenal fan with that T shirt behind him
Just wondering why yous have stopped posting the pod on Spotify
This current Arsenal team this season though. It’s like being in a formula one race and 10 laps left but any time the car in first position slows down you in second position slows down too 😂 How are we going to catch Liverpool if we are not even blazing hot. Unless we give the post Dubai January 2024 performance forget this title no matter how Liverpool plays. This false hope is more painful than actually falling off the race now and focusing on just lifting one of the cups(FA/Carabaro) or both. Arsenal fans are watching each game in great pain whereas a Fulham or Forest fan will just enjoy good football when watching their team.
Players are also human. We bring their high wages to this conversation but they get tired. Merino was exhausted at the end of this match. Like how money can't buy you happiness it can't also buy your way out of fatigue. We talk about recruitment but you can only buy so many players. For RB we had Timber, White and Tomiyasu. White and Tomi injured and Timber suspended. Now can you blame recuitment here? We draw a match we feel it's end of the world. Let's not overreact to every Draw and defeat. We didn't play well period. Refs have been officiating us harshly is quite evident. Let's keep our chin up and support the team. Liverpool drew to Man Utd Chelsea lost to Ipswich sides who are not playing well but our team Arsenal has to beat all teams handsomely. Do we think this league is a joke?
Boys I love the show, never miss an episode, can you please start uploading them on Spotify again? Because I like to listen when I’m driving or in the gym
Kulu almost breaks Gordons nose in the box, not even a yellow given; a head collision is not a tackle Antony Taylor...shame on you
And solanke kneeing dubravka in the head?
Why would Kulus be a foul? He doesn't attempt a tackle, Gordon runs into his shoulder.
@@Bickle121 gordon isn't running 🤣
Only one answer for the darts - Turkish as Josh kronke and Lee as stan
I can’t believe that a midfield with £105 million Rice is inferior to a Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard midfield. That 2022/23 midfield was so boss we dominated nearly every midfield.
It’s what happens when you are limited with passing and touch as a midfielder
Tbf arteta making rice play in a position he’s not
So I think it’s more on the manager
You cant believe.. bwahahahaaaaaaa🤣😂🤣😂 because some of you fanboys are to emotional and reactionary.. I bet you were one of the ones asking for Partey out at the start of the season.. now here's some perspective for you.. Jorginho is too old and slow, and Marino is not up to the pace of the game.. so not even a 1mil rice could fix it..oh I know you gonna tell me he score a couple of goals already but if it was just about Goals, Niklas Bendtner would still be playing for us.. Now we took care of the midfield conundrum.. where is Tomiyasu and you fans favourite inverted expert Zinchenko.. Havertz was sick, so whom was gonna come off the bench.. remember we still fell short with that 22/23 midfield..
Miss that midfield❤
6:16 Love Jordan but ironically, Tomiyasu (Jordan’s guy) had his face studded by Godfrey Vs Everton… no foul
Our players are being over coached and it’s killing us. Our players are playing like mindless robots
The Arsenal team was ravaged by injuries and sickness in attack and playing away at Brighton isn't a walk in the park, Arsenal tried with a depleted team in attack, Arsenal have the foundation to do well and win major titles, this team with a few additions in attack will definitely be the team to beat in the foreseeable future.
Darts dress up: Lee- Johnny sins, James- Oliver skipp, Turkish- Josh Kroenke “be excited” and Jordan- Stevie Wonder to match how little he sees the games
Var takes 5 minutes on some offside decisions on Pedro dive they took 5 seconds so missed Saliba touch of the ball before clash of head's & if Pedro had a head knock injury why was he allowed to take the penalty 30 seconds later
Offsides are obviously gonna take longer as they have to draw the lines etc. stupid argument.
Jordan - it is totally relevant whether we've seen a pen given for a clash of heads. It's about consistency and parity, something that is shockingly missing from the officiating in the PL. It needs to be called out if we win 5-0, lose or draw, even rivals having a bad decision against them, etc., etc. otherwise the poor referring will just continue. Think of the big picture.
Why can we not go back to the way we played 2 seasons ago, How come our performance has not increased year on year
Injuries? It's hard to get a flow when we keep losing players in each position every couple of games.
Same reason we fell apart when we lost Saliba that year. No back up in defence.
For the darts fancy dress, I don’t know about Lee but Turkish could go as Josh Kroenke and bring a ‘Be excited’ sign with him 😅
As LFC fan idk have this feeling City will go on this mad run win the league i just don't trust my team last night was proof of that
Did you see the stats from their game against West Ham? City are nowhere near back
City are 12 points behind Liverpool and Liverpool have a game in hand. Relax.
@@purpleaki06What stats?
@GermanChickenwing city won 4-1 at the weekend. You'd expect them to have ultra possession, 30 shots to 1, huge xG compared to their opponent.
But they didn't, it was quite close
@purpleaki06 quite close? Not sure you watched the game.. Yes Westham should have scored more than 1 goal but if I use some logic, then City should have scored 7 at least .. Ortega didn't make any mad save, but Westham keeper made at least 2..City had 16 shots against Spurs and what was the score? I cant remember lol
Pedro pedro pedro pedro pedro🎵😂 pedro is a good guy he always thanks jesus
