I 100% agree about meal-prepping - I don’t want to eat leftovers everyday. It’s so unappetizing, really. I don’t mind prepped salads and other cold things... Ingredient prepping is an every Sunday task for me, and it helps my week run more efficiently. It’s nice to be able to throw already cut up veggies and fruits in the kids’ lunches.
I used to buy the Beyond meats but after some research came out, I will never eat that again. Please look into it and see for yourself. They taste really good and I was disappointed when I found out about the ingredients it contained. Again, look into it so you can decide if that’s something you want to eat

When you wash fresh veggies & fruits ahead, you, are limited in the time you have to use them. Being raised in CA, I know all fruits & veggies are usually packed in the field, and, need to be cleaned before you use them. We raise our own beef on our 80 acres in WI. We buy our fresh milk from a Amish friend and get our eggs from another.
I could watch your videos every day! Watching you clean and cook is both relaxing and inspirational at the same time! You give me ideas for recipes I would not have thought of. I loved the peach salad, but would use ham instead. Can you believe I am Italian and don't like prosciutto, LOL!! 😂

Lauren Nicholsen, so good to see you again! I've been using white vinegar to clean my fruits/veggies for years now! I soak them in a bowl with half vinegar/half water, and when I drain them I see all the dirt come right off!

So I am, was until recently a runner. Until I actually got to see what happens to our knees and aging process from running. I was devastated because I have been running for over 20yrs. . So I can't change what running over 5 miles a day for over 20 yrs.has done but I now just do a 20 minute speed walk.

I love burrata. I can’t imagine not washing my vegetables. I store my unwashed strawberries in a big jar with a lid and wash before I eat them. They last so much longer.
