i dropped outta uni months ago to change my degree i was surrounded by couple of friends, one of them is my dearest friend my childhood sister and friend the other one we were together since senior year
and now they both moved out the country and i start rotting in my bed fearing of meeting new people,,
next two months inshallah ill start again in med school this time, and as of someone whos so introverted and have social anxiety ill remember what you just said and change myself to the better

:( I know how you feel and it's really hard. But we can't expect progress without putting ourselves out there. It's very hard for me cause I don't really have friends, I mostly am with my cousins and I'm grateful for them. But I'm lonely, I'm always sitting alone in my room, I want to change and try new things, be in situations where I can meet new people. In my uni, everyone formed friendships and I'm possibly late. But there are other ways always. My cousin is also in med uni, so I know how hard it can get. It's so brave of you to change your university path, and I hope you will meet good people as time passes

After actually watching the video, I felt emotionally enthusiastic about writing the note for future me, it gave me hope after seeing you be passionate about what you wrote and have hope in your future. I too have big dreams but it never seems like it goes well ☹️ so I would like to start my note even though I might cringe at it 😢

hi, Amina, I've been watching your videos for about a year now and let me just start off by saying that your content brings me so much comfort, peace and inspiration. In only a couple weeks from now I'll be a high school student I am really thrilled but at the same time, it feels like the years are just slipping of my fingers. THE LETTER AND THE EDITING IS SOO CUTEE
Last year I wrote a letter to my future self too, I don't know how to describe the feeling while writing it, I felt excited, motivated and a little bit scared because I didn't know how I'll be feeling while reading it in couple months, I don't know what my future self is going through, I've always had the fear of asking her about things that I'm not sure if they will stay with me because I always had the fear of losing them. But the good thing is whether I was feeling good or going through some hard days, it felt comforting reading a letter from my past self and knowing that I always have myself.

ahh this is so sweet i wrote a letter to myself a few times before and i always loved the experience. i write about how my life has been and how its going and what i hope it will turn into. reading it back brings back old memories and a sense of growth and comfort.
