    I agree with you. It is important to interact with people when you are entering college. You want to as involved as possible to get to know your surroundings. One thing I would like to mention from you is that Panter Hall is not the only dorm for freshmen. You can also apply to Lakeview as a freshmen. Lakeview houses students who are freshmen, sophomore, and junior year.

      Yes, another housing option for freshmen! Lakeview offers private rooms and a mix of classmen as Panther Hall is solely for freshman housing. Both are located at MMC. Thanks for clarifying!!

      FIU is extremely diverse. The BSU community is pretty strong here. Blacks are not considered a minority.
