I Made My Top 10 List For Favorite Song's From The Tony Martin Era, And They Are 1. Anno Mundi 2. The Shining 3. Ancient Warrior 4. Headless Cross 5. When Death Calls 6. Cross Of Thorns 7. Jerusalem 8. I Won't Cry For You 9. The Sabbath Stones 10. Forbidden. And By The Way I Love Sabbath More With Dio And Tony Martin On Vocals..
Cross Purposes (the whole album) always felt the closest to the classic Black Sabbath sound of the Tony Martin era. This song in particular is phenomenal, and this live version of it is so damn good! Easily on par with the Dio and Ozzy stuff!
Iommi has never written a song in his life. Without Tony Martin or Dio there, and at least a drum machine, this music would not exist. It would remain random 30 second samples on Iommi's tapes.
He sang it well here for the most part. However, I do feel that this performance would have been even more completed if he was able to hit the higher register portion on the later half of the song.
Sempre reluzente. Tony Iommi é o mestre do heavy metal
Ultimate respect to Tony Martin. He had the monumental task of filling a role that had been filled by not one but two iconic singers. Yet, he never seemed daunted by the task, he took to the stage and made the band his own.
Tony Martin being removed was the end of Black Sabbath as a band. Live they were great, but it was more nostalgia and they couldn't write songs whether under Ozzy or even Dio anymore. It was just three chord riffs from Iommi and no songwriting or anything of interest from the others. Just sludge.
ohh im fucking glad there aren't any dislikes on this video so far.. i know Tony is not hitting the notes that he hit on the album, but still..the emotions in the song speak loud enough.. long live true music man!
Damn he is good but miss the level of the record vocals...I do understand why Iommi was not happy...but still not that bad...but the record my god he sang well!!
I love Tony Martin (and this song in particular) but never saw this line up live. Had no idea he sang such a different melody to avoid his own high notes live. Tremendous in the studio though and great to see him getting some love and credit with the recent re-issues.
Listen to gigs from the Tyr Tour, he could, he was really awesome. For gigs from the headless cross or eternal idol tours, it depends on which songs, on which date. But overall he was good. But during this cross purpose tour he suffered from an angina or a throat infection and he damaged his voice. From them he lost a lot of his range.
Seriously, in my opinion. One of the best songs ever made. As someone commented before. This song has such emotion
Feels the same, I´ve always loved this song - never ever understood the hatred surrounding this BS lineup.
Welen Schizoman i agree. BS did a lot of great stuff with Tony Martin .
zero negatives that sums all

@@mmmmtjee Because closed minded Sabbath fans only want the original lineup or nothing.
Tony Martin was truly an underrated singer. He gave Black Sabbath an original metal sound. A very talented singer indeed

A voz desse cara é maravilhosa demais!
these are real good music.
WONDERFUL💥🎶Tony brings Chills🔥
*There are no rules here!*
Iommi, the greatest guitar player to walk the face of the earth, no matter who sings/plays, Iommi IS Sabbath
Iommi has never written a song in his life. Without Tony Martin or Dio there, and at least a drum machine, this music would not exist. It would remain random 30 second samples on Iommi's tapes.
Iommi is Sabbath and the key person responsible for their music without him no songs from Black Sabbath 😂😊

Tony Martin! A great vocal.
Most definitely! He actually had a throat infection during this show and he still kicked ass!🤘
I don’t think Black Sabbath has ever had a bad vocalist.

Very underrated singer Tony Martin
This song is probably one of the best they´ve ever created as a group. Such emotion and harmony. Wonderful!
The best Black Sabbath with Tony Iommi - Guitar, Geezer Butler - Bass, Tony Martin - Vocals And Bobby Rondinelli - Drums!! Perfect
Listening to this actually makes me really appreciate Geezer Butler's bass playing. His bass lines here are wickedly fat.
What a great album.
Ultimate respect to Tony Martin. He had the monumental task of filling a role that had been filled by not one but two iconic singers. Yet, he never seemed daunted by the task, he took to the stage and made the band his own.
in my opinion , tony martin is a awesome singer .
actually 4 if you count Dio, Hugues, Ozzy and Gillian... there was also the late Ray Gillen...
What a beautiful transition with power and class. Martin is an outstanding song writer and guitarist in his own right! brilliant
Fuck man best song and riff 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Essa música é maravilhosa! Cantava muito esse Tony Martin! Toni iommi sempre perfeito na guitarra!
8 people have blood on their hands.

Acontece.
IMHO .. Sabbath with Tony was the best!!
agreed!
Tony Martin - then Dio and leaves me no option with last - OzzY
I love Tony Iommi's guitar !

Awesome vocals!
Sabbath was always so much better with either Martin or Dio on vocals than they ever were with Ozzy!
it was not.I like the martin stuff too.But compared to albums like vol 4 sabbath bloody sabbath and sabbatoge it sounds very week.
I don't think Sabbath was better, I do believe a very different band with each vocalist.

Cross of Thorns is at the core of our civilisation!
Masterpiece!
Awesome, but why can't Tony hit those not so high bridge notes (in comparison to eternal idol) which was ridiculously high
Dave Mieze he never hit the high notes live because it strained his voice and would only do that for studio performances
Listen to gigs from the Tyr Tour, he could, he was really awesome. For gigs from the headless cross or eternal idol tours, it depends on which songs, on which date. But overall he was good.

He was sick.
His voice sounds very strained as if this 3/4s through a tour.
only tony.
Love this amazing performance
BLACK SABBATH is the best band in the land...
nice! *-----------------*
Great song from a great album !
Sensacional!
Great Show Of Sabbath...Amazing👏👏👏
Cropped to widescreen. :(

Wtf i cant find Tony Martin’s shit on Apple Music? Pls help
Shit, no Sabbath without ozzy, he looks like fish off marillion.
very nice \m/ \m/
fuck that man's tone is beastly
My favorite singer
Tony Martin...terrible voz...idolo..!!
Terrible voice?
@@elderkimein spanish could means "great" or "awesome"
The singing makes it unlistenable or watchable. What we're they thinking,?!
without ozzy is not black sabbath
You are correct, it is BETTER without Ozzy!
Fuck Ozzy. Biggest con in the history of music
sabbath= iommi
Ahahahaha
Tony Iommi is Black Sabbath
