I love the backgrounds in this game. So much better than the ones we see in current gen fighters.

Engrish moments:
1:03 - "Hey, hows it goin d00d~! Now lets begin. Choose your favorite character!"
1:20 - "This opponent is baaad! Be tough, or be dead, Big Guy"
5:45 - "Next comes...WOW! Looks tough, and really angry. FIGHT!"
13:53 - "Pull yourself together! This opponent looks ready to kill. Stay tough, and good luck!"
17:47 - "Congratulation! Well done! You sucked blood(?) and came a long way! Now kick back champ, until we meet again! Stay cool!"
IMO, this games announcer and the one in Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter are the best so far in the fighting games series.

This kinda looks like SNK's answer to the Street Fighter Alpha series, with Garou designed to compete with Street Fighter III.
Yeah, accept Garou/SNK is 3 years behind in graphics/animation like always.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who liked this game (RB-FFS) better than Real Bout Fatal Fury 2.

Ah thanks for upload. The person who played this through is actually very decent. Brings back a lot of memories! Used to like using Billy Kane back then.
This game is a piece of art. I own the MVS card. The only thing is the difficulty level. There is something so harsh about SNK fighters. Passing the first 3 to 4 opponents with ease to end up complete stuck at the next opponent, something far more balanced with CAPCOM fighters.
Will appreciate it if Fatal Fury comes up with a collection bundle in modern consoles and Steam.
Best fatal fury for me, Kim Kaphwan my favorite, his special move is fantastic
Always thought this was the best of the Real Bout Fatal Fury series, game just flowed extremely fluid, something that i felt kinda lacked from RB1 and RB2
So much nostalgia for this game. I hope another fatal fury makes nintendo switch.

I like the neo geo cd port better because it features a music video bonus with blue mary after the credits.

This, Mark of the wolves , Kof'98 and last Blade 1 and 2 are the best 2d fighting games that Snk made , in my opinion. But, for some reason I love Art of fighting 1 and 2.
I could never really get into AOF1 for some reason.
Samurai Shodown 2 is up there as well.

Pound for Pound my favorite Fatal Fury Game. Mark of the Wolves is Great, but Fatal Fury never get more fun to play than this IMO
