    My first solo trip to Tokyo ended with me walking outside of Shinjuku to get away from the chaotic station while I figured out another way to get to the airport. I ended up walking for 30 minutes (at night) towards Ebisu & wished I explored there instead - it was the small town vibes I was looking for, so next time I will make it a point to go/stay there.

      Means you'll have to go back again! I love Ebisu, its vibe is definitely the opposite of Shinjuku!

    We were just in Tokyo last month, and we stayed near Kanda station and loved the vibe of that area. But, I think you can really stay almost anywhere in Tokyo and be good. I’ve never seen a city that is more convenient to travel around. If you are near any of the main lines you can be anywhere in the city in 15-20 min.

    • @hijessicaanne
      @hijessicaanne  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Totally agree! It's definitely a city that always feels central no matter which neighbourhood you stay in :)

    Farmer's is an awesome vegan place. There are about 5 places in Tokyo. The one in Shinjuku and Omotesando (near Lattest coffee) are great!!

      N Beijert is that the same as Mr Farmer in Omotesando? If that’s one of them, I’ve been there and their food was delicious! 😋

    Hi There. I also live in Australia and I was wondering which one is the best season to travel. I was thinking of going this May 2023 but tickets are about 900 AUD. Is it that to expensive and should I change my mind and pick other season to travel? I feel that from now til May is not enough time to plan . Thanks

    • @hijessicaanne
      @hijessicaanne  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think that’s pretty reasonable for May, if it’s $900 return. Usually April is most expensive as it’s cherry blossom season. Summer months are the cheapest, but it’s crazy hot and not that enjoyable to travel during that time.

    Beware guys when Japanese girls act very friendly towards you!.I made that mistake and it cost me $$$ in concert tickets and gifts! I expected this kind of game in The Philippines but not Japan..Lesson learned!

    Hi gorgeous girl. Have you seen this video? "Tokyo Lens Stupid Norm Nakamura frustrated teenage with beard. Thanks". I've left my own views by way of a comment there. Just wanted to make sure you know that poor practice by TH-camrs goes on and some are more emotionally and intellectually healthy than others, not to mention more professional and mature. A grown man who considers TH-cam his professional gig, getting away with treating kids and viewers like this is not acceptable to me. It reeks of arrogance and there's such a nasty streak in this guy. He's been getting away with this behind the scenes for far too long. I have my own experiences too, so please know this is not a one off example. Again, spread no hate or harassment, only support for those who are in the dark, and those being KEPT in the dark. Thank you for reading. Please delete this once you've seen the video yourself. Just want to make sure you don't stumble into unsavoury collaborations in the future. xo
