Fishing, grouping, and knowing when to skip mobs are some of the biggest things you can do. I'd love for a series of videos(or video) on the little things you do like this that I can point my friends to.

My advice on progressing with tal rasha is don't accidentally scrap your grand vizier when you meant to cube it, and only realise a few hours later. Ask me how I know!

GR150 completed at paragon 1780 today. Thank you for your tips. Another thing I think is important is if someone at ~1500 paragon want to change to Aughild, put paragon on vitality until your life ~1M. By doing this your necklace buff will be on constantly. Even though the “damage” looks less than the Guardians but more actual damage.
Casual player cleared my first 150 thanks to this video. “Walk” in my head the whole time absolutely free clear with this
Tal Rasha this season with the altar is some of the most fun I’ve ever had playing this game

Got my first 150 today 😃 made a bit of a mess on the first level but had a slight lead, second level was a slasher cemetery, followed your advice, dragged 4 elites around to I found a conduit, finished with 3 minutes left 😃
I just play for fun in the Switch, it doesn’t have lag but it can’t handle that density, was like playing in slow motion 🤣

I just want to say thank you @raxxanterax for everything you do your amazing if it wasn't for you I wouldn't even be playing diablo 3 , when it first came out I didn't like it so I stopped playing, a few years later I started watching raxx's streams and videos and I wanted to give it another try , now I would say it's my favourite game. I could barely finish gr90 but with raxx's guides and advice I can do gr150 solo most seasons no problem 😊😎
Love the video, Raxx. One thing that I seem to miss, and that is with all the information on maxroll etc. as well, is more information about your follower(s). When is it good to pick the Scoundrel, Enchantress or Templar, and what are the best items/item rolls on these specific followers. What situation to use what follower and if augmenting their items should be prioritized.
Go to variations in max roll builds. All the info is there.

Remember if you pickup power pylon, do not use your potion! It can be replaced with much shorter power duration

My max is 136 I have mostly primals but not fully geared to the max yet but they die slow at 136 but rax I never thought I would get this far this is my second season your videos are unbelievable hopefully I get to 150 before d4 but it’s gunna be a challenge thanks for teaching me so much with your videos

Thank you for this guide Rax! I got this map for my second attempt at solo GR150 and remembered most of your advice here from when I first watched this vid. Was lucky to spawn a condy and wiped out 4 or 5 elite packs after grouping them. I was that far ahead that I managed to finish the GR150 at 12min 15sec.
I'm currently at SSF 1250 paragon with fully augmented gear and a primal weapon with lvl 130 gems and I am at 142 , WILL be making a push to clear 150 for the first time! Thanks for the advice

Thanks to your guide on this build, after augmenting all my gear with rank 125 whispers of atonement, I finally cleared Torment 1. After a decade of diligent research, your various video guides and thoughtful explanations, and of course this season's altar of rights buff allowing me to where gear of any level. It took about 2 weeks of 12 hour days. But I'm now a Torment 1 regular rift God. 😤
Thanks for the video! I've been doing most of what you suggested but I'm gonna adjust my play style to try to pull bigger packs. I think it'll help a lot

Your method of walking around and pulling mobs was THE WAY! I kept dying at GR120s now I almost speed-run 130s and hoping to get my first 150 ever next week :-)

Hey Raxx if you read this i have info if you didn’t know to get reusable parts. You don’t need to convert anymore. If you have the pet salvage everything, just buy white items from merchant, drop on floor, and your pet will pick them up as reusable parts
Highest I've ever gotten is 129. This season. I can't beat it fast enough, but I can beat it without dying. I need this. 👍

Rax, any tip how I can play meteor on a group? Whenever I play in a group it seems as soon as I cast the game explodes 😢 unplayable lags.
Got my 150 at 34 hours and 1250 paragon thanks to you, wudi and maxroll! kinda feel like I beat the game and should just quit but at the same time I wanna keep playing cuz this season isn't about grinding gons which actually makes it fun to keep playing!

This looks like an awesome build, and I'll have to try it once I get good enough gear. My current Delsere's-based build does insane damage but she has a glass jaw and gets one-shotted by things like getting hit by one of those fire vents, standing on a pool of blood in the boggit lands, etc. So even with the Templar's cheat death, survivability is an issue. Here's the build I've been using and I can clear GR 75 solo quickly as long as I can avoid getting one-shotted. But MM deals INSANE damage with this build.
Gear: Delsere's except helm, Crown of the Primus, Shame of Delsere, Squirt's, Mirrorball, Ranslor's, fragment of destiny, and Bastions of Will for the rings.
Legendary gems: Simplicity's Strength, Bane of the trapped, Molten Wildebeast's (for the absorb shield, which doesn't last very long)
Regular gems: Amethyst in the helm and topaz's everywhere else. (The weapon is not socketed. Saving my Ramaladni's for when I get an ancient, and for the altar of rites)
Cube: The Twisted Sword, Depth Diggers, Ring of royal grandeur
Active skills: Teleport - fracture, MW - force weapon, Slow time - point of NR (used a skill slot for this to get the stun from PoNR), Black hole - blazar, MM - conflagrate, Energy twister - gale force
Passives: Illusionist, audacity (or blur for DR), power hungry, conflagration
Between the depth diggers, fragment, shame of delsere belt and the shard, with damage buffs from Bastion's, squirt's, the passives, and the fire damage buff from ET - gale force, plus the slow time damage buff, MM deals INSANE damage. Ranslor's also helps to corral the enemies with ET, and the twisted sword amplifies ET damage even more. But if I swap out any of this gear or skills for something more defensive, the damage goes way down. Maybe this build has a ceiling of GR 100 because of the glass jaw aspect, but man do I love seeing all of that smoldering fire after clearing out a room! Arcane enchanted elites in tight quarters are real dangerous with this build.
I'd love to hear what other's think of this build.

@RAXX - Love the vids, watch the stream and all YT vids regularly. One comment - yes, this can be easy for an experienced D3 professional. When you say you did nothing, you gotta give yourself more credit. Your kiting, movement, attacks, positioning, and understanding of the mob type is the best there is. The rest of us have some work to do. thats all im saying. haha

Assuming you're crafting your weapon into a Primal, would there be any difference between "Smoldering Core" and "Grand Vizier"?
Unless you have a really good karini, it’s best to use that for you crafted primal. Not much difference for the staff just use whatever has the best roll and cube the other.
i still remember the days of running this build when D3 capped out at T6
I could have used this earlier I had to make myself remember how to do these things. Also I forgot you can close GRs at the obelisk so I never fished rifts, and then I was also using black hole and got the 1hp bug on a rare mob and a champion pack mob :( I still got the 150 on like my 5th try but it was wayy bumpier than it needed to be. The worst fuckin' maps with no fishin. I had full ancients nearly perfectly rolled correctly statted all 125 augmented so I knew I'd get it eventually though.

Thx for everything you've done for us Raxx. You've been my main help and go-to for everything concerning Diablo for the past 5 years. I truely love this game and this season is by far the best ever in terms of gameplay. It's a pitty Blizz keeps this horrible RNG. Every season i look at the leaderboards and see people with 1500 paragons and 3 or 4 perfect primals; wtf? I've been playing 28 seasons and never got more then 1 good primal during the course of a whole season.... Maybe i should start botting like everybody else....? What do you think? It's not like Blizz takes any action against botters anyway, right? Appart from a random banwave halfway thru a season? ... Sorry if i got frustrated there.. it's not that i mind people getting good loot. on the contrairy, but having played allmost every single season; it really feels like I wasted so much time trying to get decent gear for my characters. And worst of all, if you do get decent gear, Blizz changes the rules of the game and next season you need different gear or different stats... (note that goes for all Blizz games btw ; Blizz games are now pure grinding games; they try to keep you online for as long as they possibly can...)

I dont know how you do to just walk in the mobs and live like that, I feel like every time I'm getting jumped at and os by some crap

Ah, that's why I have trouble pushing to 150: I do the shitty archives at 145 and end up finishing the rift at minute overtime. However, I've also noticed I have pretty poor uptime on Squirt's: supposing that improving my play is going to be at best incremental, what's the most actionable thing to do in this situation? Just accept that I'm not good enough to use Squirts and go for Endless Walk Instead? Use all Paragon points to get vitality so as to get twice as powerful shields (the difference of 15k int vs 20k int ought to be less than keeping double damage from Squirts)? Defensive gem?
Using endless walk would make you lose coe. Not worth. Get 1500 para+, Max rolled halo (atleast 78%). Squirts is a 100% dmg for 2 minutes with shield pylon btw
just keep practicing, try to doge the enemies, play at range, always keep moving, learn about mobtypes, elite affixes and rift guardians, fish for open maps and you will become better at pushing and playing the build. also don't pressure yourself, just enjoy the game and keep practicing. you also get lots of paragon and gear during practice rifts, your char gets stronger over time and the 150 gets easier and easier
usually get 900k to 1.3m hp (without guardian set), under 1500 paragon you can go guardian + tal rasha neck.
if you're using star pact you can try the slow passive it can help with kitting.
Also building a good templar (25k str + cdr) can help with heals.
after that it's a matter of getting an open map, pulling mobs and when have enough mobs to not lag too much, doing like a circle around the pack of mobs.
Honestly just craft guardians and use a talrasha neck. When I did that I stopped dying completely and just blasted through 145 to 150

Can you link a d3 planner? Cold push setup on maxroll has Black Hole but you are not using it. So can you please give a d3 planner?
I have a problem when I put magic weapon on left click like that and try and group mobs it casts everytime i click a mob draining my arcane power, I remember there being a way around this but cant find it anywhere!
Put spark flint on lmb
Not sure if this is your problem but if you're trying to move with LMB, instead put force move on scroll wheel (up or down, not push) and use that to move.
@@clubblybear667 I definitely use lmb to move and have for so many years in diablo games that its pretty to force myself to use something else, I tried binding force move to wasd lol but i seem to start clicking the moment i get in combat.

edit 1, I had some clan mates help me do the challenge rift, and so progressing, I am up to where I need a ancient puzzle ring, also on a good note, i got the G Gemstone, i create 4 games looked for the clear the frost cave and got it. ty for all your videos again
If you have a normal puzzle ring, use the reforge legendary at the cube. Make sure you have plenty of bounty materials and forgotten souls, took me 5-6 tries to get a ancient. Im 1480 Paragon and havent had 1 ancient dropped :( So cube it is if you want one.
One question. I should push solo gr 150 with comet and group gr with star pact? I still don't know if dmg is higher with arcane or if it's just a matter of less lag when I'm in group. Ty
Nice! I was wondering how to play, looks so easy when you do it. The mob grabbing and pulling them to one spot is something I really need to learn. My wizard just dies from everything.

I don't understand, you throw meteors not when arcane appears and when cold appears? You are not playing the star pact?
HC uses the cold variant. Both can do 150, arcane is just more glass cannon and harder to play.

I cleared a solo GR 150, but somestimes I struggle to clear them because I get bad maps and takes so long to kill elites, to make it worse, I don't get conduit pylon -_-
How much area damage % is recommend for GR 150s?

It looks like you have enduring skin up for diamond skin so it lasts 6 seconds and the cooldown is up right as it finishes, what in gear are you making sure to have to allow it to be exactly 6 seconds on cooldown?

I have terrible gear on my wizard, and I still cleared a 120 in 4-5 minutes. If I grind for some decent gear I’m sure 130 wouldn’t be too hard.
What is the slow/nova/ice effect under the mobs? I dont have that following the maxroll guide.

why aughild instead of guardians set? i know there are no good shoulder options, but after trying i feel it does a little more damage and is less squishy
Basically because in order to work in guardians you'd have to give up something that is much better like squirts and its not worth in the long run.
Be ause Aughilds does a LOT more damage.
I gave up the pushing because of the area damage lags. Unplayable.
At 2k paragon just open any GR and it’s done build is dumb strong

No, that build drops two huge defensive + offensive multipliers (karini + cube weapon) for soj + ingeom.

How do we get a good flow when doing speeds? My wizard feels clunky.
Fishing for a good tileset, then it's full of spearmen, winged assassins and porcupine shits, so you get no uptime on squirts. I did gr 150 in 8 min so far, paragon level 2500. But i'm at a poknt where i can finish almost any gr 150 in time, so i just need to fish for a better rng rift
Had some troubles with 149 even with good maps and mobs then on my first 150 I got the same map but with condiut and I did it in 9min.

Rax i see people using star pact with frost nova on leaderboards. I also see it on the maxroll guide for starpact but nothing mentions how to to time the skill and how it synergizes with the build can you please explain?
I'm thinking it's for the 4th element immunity and extra damage. Could also go cold black hole?

Why do you keep fishing with empowered rifts? I know gold is irrelevant in this game but that just hurts me to watch 😂😂
what should I use my cube 11 recipe on for tal Rasha? The staff? Or the Ring of Karini?
depends on secondary rolls. For example my karini has a 78% dmg.red. roll which is almost perfect (80% max) but my staffs had super bad rolls, so i used it on one of the staffs. Doesnt matter which of the two staffs u use, just upgrade one and put the other in the cube.
I got a smoldering core with high dmg, int/vit and able to roll 10%dmg, it has 4300dps. So I made a primal karini since those are hard get good rolls and ancient on :).
Edit: rolled with 49% meteordmg, so that's decent :)
@@Trosgustav make sure u got them 50% on smoldering core and/or 400% on the grand vizier in secondary.

How important is the % on nilfur's legendary affix? Best I could do is 800% on ancient, with good stats overall. But seeing the ladder with some people using ash to get primal nilfur's makes me think I should go for better rolls.

Wudijo cleared 150 HC at 1000 paragon with guardians.
@@thedon9670 Awesome, I must just need to fish better. I can do 143 atm. I just have not found an ancient COE yet and I am missing area dmg on it as well. My neck is also not ancient. I think if I fix those two slots and fish effectively I'll get it. Ty.
@@ryanweeks287 they won't make much difference honestly. Fishing is all you need and having good pylons.
