The same thing happened to my soft glam palette. I used wood glue to put it back together. Mine is at least 4 years old but it's not going anywhere. I don't purchase abh anymore. I've noticed that the shadow make my eyes water like crazy.
I couldn't agree more with you about Pat's mega holiday palette this year and lasts. Last years was SO good. It had fun wearable colors and the quality was great! Pat's holiday palette this year can not compete with indie colorful matte formulas but even the metallics were more basic and not exciting enough to warrant keeping the palette so It got returned. I'd rather spend half the price and get more shades with the Makayla paht 2 glamlite palette to have those fun colorful mattes that build to opacity and preform with ease and metallics with high impact shine. I've also tried Bronze seduction after falling in love with my 1st mothership moonlight seduction. I ended up returning bronze seduction because the quality was bad on a couple of shades. The difficult patchy purple and the hard panned brown next to it which was a main shade that drew me in to buying it. Natasha has never let me down the way Pat has. 😅😜
Back again with the ruthless declutters! I had no idea they were discontinuing the whistler palette, that’s so sad 😭 please link your poshmark! I’d love to check out your listings:)
I can't get rid of my Norvina or Sultry palettes either LOL. Even though they are getting old. I'm going to try to prioritize using them over this winter and spring and maybe declutter in the summer.
You did a great job decluttering! It makes me want to be ruthless for mine. On the Fetes de Provence palette I’ve had lots of shimmers have that oil seepage especially from Nomad. Just pat the shimmer with a paper towel to soak up the additional oil. There’s nothing wrong with it it’s just a little too much oil in the shadow formula that’s leaking out 🥰

HI dear! on the "leak" or spot on your Nomad eyeshadow palette: I heard Angie Nyquist talk about that in the video that its nothing harmful, its just the oils from the eyeshadow leaking, but does not indicate that an eyeshadow is going bad. in any case, listen to your intuition
My pat McGrath red shade has that too I don’t think it means it’s going bad because mine is super new I bought it like a month or two ago and still is as pigmented as when I got it
I love my colorpop the child palette. I have been back and forth on whether or not to purchase the blend bunny all done up palette. I think you helped me make up my mind. I won't be purchasing it. I'm sad that I didn't purchase the 2 Odens Eye Christmas palettes.
Excellent declutter! I need to let go of UD Born To Run. Already decluttered older ABH. I've been considering trying indie -- Glaminatrix Nearly Natural and Lunar Beauty Nude Prism. Thoughts? I also have the mainstream ones you mentioned adjacent to it.
I think 18 palettes is a nice number to declutter. I was rooting for you to declutter some ABH palettes. I’m so proud of you. So you’re keeping Whistler Snow now right? I seen your story first about changing your mind. I really need to pick that one up before it’s gone. I wish I did from the BF sale because it would have costed me $7 more. With the Provence palette, there is some type of sheet it came with. I figured it’s because of that reason so I’m gonna keep it on after seeing this. It probably has more oils or something, not that something is wrong with it. I think I have one or two palettes like staining my collection. I think one is from Sugar Drizzle Polish because their formula is super creamy. I’m sorry about your eye infection. It’s so scary when that happens because it could be from a old palette, dirty brush, or old mascra or even eyeliner. It happened to me one time with mascra for sure and another time I think my brush was too used up 😅 I hope it gets better. I love this decluttering video and collection. It was so much fun to watch! 🥰❤️
I did end up keeping the 2 Nomad palettes🥰 My Eye infection is actually a injury. I forgot my son high five my eye lol then high fived it with his foot when I was changing his diaper. So my entire eyeball had like popped blood bruises or something. Then it kinda spread to the entire eye, so I thought maybe infection, but it turns out it was an injury. All healed up now 😆
