The Valar are Ainur spirits that helped create and govern the physical world. They are not the Elven anything as that would suggest they are a pantheon exclusive to Elves, which they are not. Their concerns were for all of Arda and it's inhabitants.
"Their concerns were for all of Arda and it's inhabitants" Really? Is that why they ignored humans, dwarves and ents and basically let Melkor corrupt and deceive humanity unopposed? Is that why they never bothered to, say, show up regularily in Numenor to prevent its corruption too? Is that why they never bothered to show in the East and South of Middle Earth to you know, demolish the cult of Melkor that Sauron later founded there? That doesn't mean warring, that means showing up and just by doing that they would have destroyed the dogmas of that cult. And for that matter, they let humans, dwarves and sindar suffer the consequences of the rebellion of the Noldor, even if they were innocent. And for that matter, they couldn't bother to do anything against Sauron, who was only defeated by divine intervention by Eru. And even then, they care about the elves only if they remain their unquestioning followers, because the Noldor actually had critical thinking and got punished.
I would like to thank everyone who has viewed this video! 2K views is a real milestone!!
