Beautifully done Mak! I wish I could make a Rhyacophila Caddis Larvae. And I like the way you added the butt ends from the peacock herl to form legs. I was wondering how to do to that. Thank You for Sharing this video with us, I really enjoyed watching it. You Take Care. Aloha!🌴🦐🎣🐟🐠
I So Appreciate that You Share Your Talent with Us !!! I’ll be tying some of Your pattern soon, and will fish them here in NW Michigan Rivers . The BROWNS won’t stay Off The Fly !!! 👍🏻🎣✨

beautiful bug...in my saved account here.. your flys are about 90 percent of the saved one..i send these videos to my freinds to help them see how a fly is tied
This is an awesome tying mak, could I use the uv resin instead of the varnish or will it discolor as it sets? Going to give this one a whirl. Quality fly again Mak.
Which brand Varnish do you use for this presentation ?? I purchase all my Varnish from the UK, Scotland to be specific but i have nothing as thick as this. UV has its place, just not here. Thanks
Thank you Matt. I just suscrived to your channel. I live in Patagonia. I plan to make some of your patterns for local waters. Sorry for one more question, whats the floss you are using? Thank you again for the time to reply! Cheers!
Mak, I love your videos but on this one what is the white body you call "yarn" Sadly most tying shops have closed here as the fishery for the mighty Atlantic Salmon dies. Is this "yarn" like my grandmothers knitted sweaters with in the 30s 40s and 50s? I suspect that it is a different thing. We have different names on either side of the Atlantic. Would like clarifcation as to the material. Here, "yarn is a very fussy broad material", quite different from what you filmed. BTW..Keep up the great patterns !!eventhere is some language differences in the different types of english
Thank you commando ,, I am glad you like it, As for the Yarn, it is call ( polypropylene Floating Yarn , if you google it you will find it, or try in ebay Regards,,, Mak
That is so good. Love the use of the yarn
