I tried to roller set my hair but it was a struggle cause the rollers were not tight enough to my scalp or the hair. Do you have any tips or suggestions on that? Thank you 🙏🏽 great results!
Not her, but your hair must be damp to wet, especially the ends. And roll and pull, tug a bit so the hair on the roots is taut, then roll and tug, repeat til it's close to the scalp. Also get the duckbill clips that have a little bend on the hinge(you'll see them at Sally's) as they slide all the way in and won't leave indent marks as the type of roller in this video. Hope that helps.
Your hair has grown! I'm getting another round of braids tomorrow. Had a break since June and a relaxer touch up. Having the braids made my hair really grow. I love your results!! Pretty and healthy hair!!
I’ve always had pretty long hair and able to grow it out. Believe it or not it was way thicker than you see in these videos when I was younger and I hated it.
Tried again with the foam i had and had to stop using it. It just made my hair instantly felt rough and i could sense breakage wanting to set in. Well using that foam i have is a no for rollersets
@Domingo88, Hey Love! You are like me!!! The foam is too heavy for my hair & causes roughness for me too. Try using the Nairobi 3 in 1 Texturizing Styling Lotion (which I slightly dilute with water in my spray bottle like the one @ChanelsLifeandBeauty B uses! Hope this helps you!
@ChanelsLifeandBeauty B, I think you would really like it, it is very light. I actually used more water than setting lotion. My cousin mixed it for me & it was perfect & not stiff or a heavy hold. I’m back to my roller sets since summer is over & my hair can finally take the weather lol! Thanks for all the videos & on IG too🥰

Add more tension as you roll the hair down. Over time you will get it. In my next roller set I will try to demonstrate. 😘😘 thank you
Try smaller sections too

Thank you 😘😘yes I believe protectivestyles help with growth also.
Awesome!!!
How often do you do this? After every wash day? I am trying a find a direct heat method to keep my hair sleek looking.
I don’t do it that often bc it’s more time consuming for me. But this method will keep the hair sleek😘😘
BEAUTIFUL ❤️ how many post relaxer?
My last relaxer was July 9th. So I believe I’m 8 weeks post relaxer. Thank you 😘😘
Luv luv it. How long did it take 2 dry?
I sat under a hooded dryer for 1hr 30 minutes. Thank you 😘😘
Thanks, for the response back . It would take me that long as well. I would luv that instead of direct heat.
Was your hair always thick and long?
I’ve always had pretty long hair and able to grow it out. Believe it or not it was way thicker than you see in these videos when I was younger and I hated it.
