NYC - they just started, building the legendary WTC Towers !!! This Movie has it all, great Scenery, great Story, great Actors, great Music in total it is very good Entertainment !!!
Possibly the best ever, yes. The French classic The Red Circle (1970) is also famous and curiously enough along with Grand Slam there's another Italian heist film from 1967 that is very good; 28 Minutes for 3 Million Dollars starring Richard Harrison.
These opening titles seem ahead of their time. The production company's name preceding the movie's title and the lead actor's name not being preceded by "Starring" seems unusual for the time.
One of the best opening titles EVER ! Maestro Ennio Morricone. This music always makes my day !
One of the best movies. Great Bossa Nova music!! 👍🏼🎹🎼🎷🎺🎸🥁🎻

Sheer beauty of film making and scoring!
I love the old NYC, so sleepy yet vibrant, the hub of everything. The greatest city there ever was or could be 😢😢❤❤
Catchy Movie Theme
I was a kid when I saw the movie for the first time. I have never forgotten the great title music ever since. Ennio Morricone - the genius!
Awesome movie! One of the best heist flicks. This music is a surefire way to brighten your day.
to me it is still the best heist movie...
For me too, it amazes me that it's hardly ever mentioned in any heist movie lists it's almost criminal not to.
Payed 5 bucks to watch this, don't regret it
Oh , how I miss those days
Should have rebooted or sequeled it in the 90s with the same camera angles and had the WTC featured.
I ❤️NYC
Amazing!
i LOVE this movie
thank yew.........................
One of the great heist flicks. 1967---Rio at carnival, Morricone, Kinski, and Janet Leigh. Thanks.

Awesome and catchy theme

I remember this movie
I guess, that Signore Morricone knew nothing about this, but his music was a closing theme in Dziennik Telewizyjny, polish news satire from 90's.
That's a great flick, awesome score too.
Excellent opening to this sixties film.
Also, where's the rest of the movie? Of course, depends on WHICH version.
hope you can upload the full movie.....many thanks
J'adore la musique.
Wow, certainly did not know that!
Générique d'ouverture de "Ad Ogni Costo", ou "Grand Slam", ou "Le Carnaval des Truands" (Giuliano Montaldo, 1967).
This theme sounds similar to Terry Stafford's song "Suspicion".
Ah yes,the Somber Sixties.
Perhaps there should be WTC towers under construction somewhere in the landscape but I'm not sure if I certainly see it...
Does this sound like different instrumentation or just a poor recording?
Definitely a different take than the version on the soundtrack album …
I think they're the same, this is just a poorer sounding version cut short at the end.
@@LarryFleetwood8675 .......different !!!!
@@TSUKNIDA It's the same.
Dziennik Telewizyjny! 😂
