Oh, I didn't know you had such granular customization (as in being able to say what building goes were, like City Skylines). Looks very interesting!

Animal crossing is actually partly influenced by Fabuland, which was one of Lego's first attempts at making preschool friendly sets. They were inspired by the busy world of Richard Scary. So if you go back and look at Fabuland, you'll see how much these new animal crossing sets look similar.

There probably should be a different model for the alien visitor ships. Everyone so far seems to instinctively want to shoot them down, you narrowly avoided an invasion there.
Edit: ah well, seems like that's the outcome regardless.

And it's (still) worth pointing out that the game is (still) on GOG as well as Steam and that Steam is (still) a platform it's worth actively avoiding wherever possible at this point, and has been for over 4 years now. In late 2019, the Steam client was updated in a way that was almost immediately identified by several users as a trigger for their medical conditions - namely migraines and epilepsy. Over the course of the next couple of months, numerous other users found out this was a problem, and many people have reported it since. A few less severe conditions have also been found to be affected (though obviously to a lesser degree since they're not conditions which can result in hospitalisation). Valve's response to these reports has included acknowledging that there's a problem and refusing to fix it - not just failing to do so or saying they might look into it but don't consider it a priority. Not just saying "we don't have any plans to fix this right now" but "we intend to take no action regarding this issue" in spite of admitting to knowledge that it's causing harm to some users. There have also been several instances where Valve staff have directly violated the privacy rights of customers in connection with these issues (in some cases, seemingly deliberately).
Actively promoting *ONLY* the Steam version of games when you're aware the game is also available elsewhere isn't helpful. You've known for a while now thatt his game is available elsewhere. There's been discussion of that fact in front of you on a number of occasions I'm aware of (several as a result of my personal actions, but I'm not the only one I know of who's brought it up). There have been growing reasons for those not affected by the medical issues with Steam to be looking elsewhere for games, with Valve removing useful tools many low-spec gamers and power-users need for optimisation of their experience. Help gamers and help gaming as a community to be better than this. Don't just spam links to the borderline monopolistic company who's been actively going out of their way to burn through the goodwill they spent over a decade earning. They no longer deserve the respect people are still showing them. Shop elsewhere. Help others to do the same.
GOG has plenty of issues of its own, but at least it's not Steam. At this point, I can make a reasonable argument than Google Play is a better PC gaming platform than Steam. Let alone any actual PC gaming platform that's trying to compete in any way at all.

Dude what the hell are you blabbing about. I’ve never heard of any of this and I’ve been on steam for 12 years. This seems borderline like a schizo rant.

@@Flash244MCGaming Since 2019, with the "new library" update, the Steam client has been a known health risk. It's been found - within days of the update - to be triggering migraines and epilepsy in some people, and by the time that year ended, it had been confirmed to be impacting several less severe conditions as well.
I have migraines severe enough to sometimes put me in hospital, and I didn't think Steam was a legit cause for a *totally coincidental* spike in migraine activity for me when the change happened, but I stumbled across some mentions of it and spoke to a doctor about checking into whether this was actually possible. We did some tests to rule it out as a possibility, assuming it was people being idiots, and instead found solid evidence that Steam was actually causing problems. That evidence has been provided to Valve, and their response has fluctuated between acknowledging the problem and stating an intent not to fix it, and denying it in spite of having evidence.
Multiple other people have reported the issue as well, and several people I know who have been affected by it have had support (which is a third party service) as well as Valve staff violate their privacy rights in response to the attempts to get support, among other blatantly abusive conduct from the company.
Also poor form referencing a real mental health condition by calling it a "schizo rant" - don't be that guy.

@@a-blivvy-yus This sounds like less of a steam problem and more of something you need treatment for. Many things can cause migraines and I get the brightness/flashiness can hurt your head but you are making such a huge deal out of it. You make it sound like valve is on some huge coverup scheme but the more probable reality is that the problem is so miniscule it's not worth addressing. You say people have had their privacy rights violated and had valve employees act abusively towards people but have provided no evidence to support this. Given these things I think the term "schizo rant" fits.

@@Flash244MCGaming I take medication to prevent migraines. Even with that, I typically get 1 or 2 a month. They usually only last a day or 2 (also reduced thanks to the medication). I have my condition well managed, and I'm aware of and cautious about the things which I know to be triggers for my condition. Other people with migraines and epilepsy tend to be the same. We know what affects us and we learn to manage our conditions.
After the Steam client update, near the end of 2019, before finding out there were concerns about Steam behaving as a migraine trigger, I had a month where I had only 4 days without a migraine. I was starting to suspect that my migraines had changed and I was going to end up having to avoid computers in general (a rare but possible situation for people with the condition). When someone mentioned Steam as a possible cause in a conversation, I laughed it off at first thinking it was a joke. But as a "just in case" thing, I asked a doctor about it and was advised to run some tests, which were possible for me to manage in part because my job gave me a lot of access to multiple PCs.
We were able to get an un-updated copy of Steam running for a comparative test, and do control testing without Steam running as well as doing some double blind tests where nobody directly present during the tests was aware of what version of Steam (if any) was running. It was pretty quickly confirmed that pre-update Steam wasn't a problem, computers in general weren't a problem, but the new Steam client was acting as a migraine trigger.
Valve has been provided with the relevant information to be able to verify that this testing was done appropriately. They've been given signed documents from at least 3 different doctors I know of which confirm that multiple people have reported effects on their otherwise-well-managed conditions.
In spite of knowing this to be a problem, Valve's response has fluctuated between admitting it's an issue and promising not to fix it anyway, and denying it even though they admit to having proof that it's a problem. They've directly violated privacy laws in several countries, and oh sure I'll just provide you with private information to doxx myself and several friends, violating privacy laws myself in an effort to prove that Valve did worse. Great plan.
And given the nature of what schizophrenia is, using it as an insult toward someone's issues with an abusive company is abusive in its own special and stupid way. Stop being abusively stupid by using an unfounded and irrelenvant accusation mental health issues as an ad hominem attack in place of trying to actually dispute someone's story. Also if you care to try and look, you'll easily find several dozen people discussing related issues they've found with the Steam client in the 4 years since it became a problem. There's even several discussions about the medical concerns with Steam on the Steam forums.
