Did you know that 62 of Australia's approximately 150 volcanoes are in the Undara Nation Park?! Thankfully for us, none have erupted in 4000-5000 years... which is fine by me, as there are plenty of other dangers to be aware of while travelling in Aus!

I really appreciate these travels to places I've never seen and your gentle commentary. I've been to many NSW national parks but have avoided Queensland so far, because of that heat. Maybe next winter.

Thanks so much Judith - your kind words are so appreciated! We travelled there right at the tail end of tourism season, and the park more or less shuts down for 6 months (or at least that’s what our guide told us!). I could understand why and would definitely recommend winter 😅🥵

Undarra is very special. The old train carriages that have been set up for accommodation, also make for a different experience. Loved your commentary Jessi!

It really is special. The train carriages looked very unique! Not that we could complain about our absolute privacy in the campground 😅

Thank you Karen 🙏 It certainly was a special place. Rohan is a great driver and didn’t make me feel unwell in the car at all! 😂

we've been to Undarra twice when our kids were younger. They still talk about it now almost 15 years later. We have this on our list to do again

It’s nice to watch and learn something. I wonder if you’re heading out west to the dinosaur trail next … 🦕

Thank you so much! And you’re right - I think I see some dinosaurs in my not too distant future 🤭🦖

62 volcanoes?! That caught us off guard. Why are they all here?! 😆
