It looks like a creepy monster that does not resemble a small car, but I guess some people like it. More people probably don't like it. I think it's unique and good.
This car is simply so loveable. I'll never get tired of this design. I love to own this car. It's such a chic and practical car and I love the 3 lights from and back. It's totally stand out ❤
looks great a bit like my honda e. issue is the price by the time it comes to the uk and EU will be way too much i bet it will be 30 to 35k...so it will not sell well as thats why the honda e did not sell well
I liked Nio cars and the direction of the company initially, but I feel they have made many mistakes over the past 3-4 years. 1. Investing in Nio Houses was a waste of resources. 2. Launching too many brands-Nio, Onvo, and Firefly-seems unnecessary. Why do they need three brands? Promoting each brand requires a lot of effort. 3. Where is the Nio phone now? Does Nio really want to compete with Apple, Xiaomi, and Huawei while still struggling with their core products? When comparing Firefly to Xiaomi’s SU7, I think most people would prefer to pay a bit more to get the SU7.
The reason is that how many Mercedes, BMW or Porsche models do you know, which starting price is very cheap? For example VW does have ŠKODA, SEAT, CUPRA, Audi, Lamborghini, Bentley and. Porsche brands. I will make this more simple in short for example: there never will be a 20 000 dollar Porsche model because the brand and the car segment class.
Look at VW and Audi now- Personally, I believe in focusing on design, product quality, and brand strength. Nio should aim to create excellent designs and unmatched products, building a respected brand, rather than pursuing a ‘me-too’ strategy with multiple brands at different price points and mediocre products. Toyota is another example. While their concept cars are impressive, their production cars often fail to live up to expectations. Nio should focus on building its brand and introducing exceptional products at reasonable price points. If you recall, when Steve Jobs returned to Apple, he launched many outstanding products at reasonable prices, aiming to serve a broader customer base. Unfortunately, after his passing, Tim Cook shifted focus toward maximizing profits by raising product prices without significant innovation. As a result, Apple is losing its competitive edge. Design, product quality, technology, and branding are the keys to success.
No your point is wrong. NIO is making at the moment high class vehicles for consumers for example the newest model NIO ET9. Other NIO brands making lower class products for lower prices and the money is coming to NIO. I have bought the first Apple iPhone in 2007 when Steve Jobs present it at the first time. When Apple products have been for regular consumers? All Apple products have higher price tags. NIO car business is not made for low or reasonable prices in higher class of vehicles. The price must be of course "good" but not cheap or reasonable for all consumers.
The money is everything in this business and the image is important on this. You cannot create products in same brand for regular consumers if you would like to ask more money from others or at least the lowest and "cheapest" vehicle must cost more so that regular consumers cannot afford but still enough for people which can afford. Consumers which have money or would like to get higher class vehicle, do not want to buy the same vehicles or brand which regular consumers can afford. For this purpose, there is ONVO and FIREFLY which are designed for regular consumers. It is as simple as that.
I do like the originality of the front headlights.

@@jamesl.o.h.6000 you have to say thank you to Honda for creating that design.
This car has similar size of Mini, with smart driving, 9 airbags, 92L frunk, and swappable battery.

A shame its Chinese because i quite like it but hell will freeze over before id buy one.
They will survive just fine without your order .......
Not a blatant rip-off copy of the Honda e at all. 🤔
We need battery swapping tech Tesla refuses this because it would make it easy to replace batteries.
Swap is crap
@KillDaRoy 20k a battery is crap.
honda e ugly version
A cheeky copy of the iconic Honda e, disfigured by absurdly misplaced lamps.
Blatant rip off.
