  • After scouring the internet and finding no answers, we decided to make a video discussing our experience and cost to bring well over 300 pounds of luggage moving from Puerto Vallarta to San Miguel de Allende Mexico. Come join us on the journey.

Thank you both so much for this information. My husband and I will be visiting Mexico city for the first time and we plan to take ETN up to San Miguel this coming weekend. Hope we'll get a chance to meet you both. This has been very helpful.

Just came across your video as my wife and I (and our cat) will be heading to Aguascalientes from Guadalajara later this month, and we were a bit concerned about our luggage. Thanks for thissuper inforative video!

Glad we could help. Have fun and enjoy the ride. If you're going overnight I would bring a coat and blanket. The bus was freezing.

Thank you so very much. Your information was exactly what I wanted to know. I am about to travel from Guadalajara to Morelia, with my moving luggage from the United States. You guys are the best. You helped me tremendously. 💃🏿

Ok. Now you’ve got me second guessing my move to PV. Maybe I should seriously consider San Miguel instead…? Ugh. I’ve been watching several videos and I like what I see. And feel. It took you guys one visit and BAM!💥 Made you wanna pack it up and live there.
    Nice! 👍

San Miguel took us by surprise for sure. We didn’t know we would enjoy it as much as we did!

I would say a nice comfy jacket. You will need it at night. Nothing too heavy.

Thank you! This was very helpful as we contemplate moving from cancun to chapala... not sure I want to do bus rides...unless we break it up like you said into several 5 hrs rides, but it could be very costly if we do that...

The bus ride was necessary due to the amount of items we had however a plan ride vs the long bus ride will be the option with less baggage.

I guess $100 USD is cheaper than a moving company, lol. Holy cow, would a private driver cost more than the bus with luggage surcharge? All good information, thanks!

I thought about a private driver but didn't feel comfortable driving with someone I don't really know across Mexico for 10 hours. :-)
