Thanks for posting this. This is the first propper overview of this bike I have seen. Can't wait for more! Let me know how the frame bag does.

do you know.... how big of a crank gear..front chain ring... you can put on? To squeeze out a little more speed? Do you like it better then the Surly ECR you had? I like the front rack.. but I donno about the rear one. Looks like a pretty sharp bike. I just don't see 2600$... least not for me. Dropper post is nice too... I guess if you added a dropper and fancy racks to the ECR it would be about the same price. So... are you going to make a video of the ECR theft.. ?... How they got it. When I get a nice bike... I'm wanting to look into a tracker for it. But... it's prob. too much $. I can't remember the bike... but some company outfits their bike with a tracker... standard... Your bike gets stolen.... you call them... they track it down for ya. I think it's in some overseas company... their bike is like a city commuter type bike. Anyway... Good Video.

I am 5'8 and the most suitable size for me is 18.5, what is your advice? ?Why Treck does not make a 18.5

Wait what?! A $2500 bike with a carbon fork. I’m confused. Why does the Raleigh redux three (which weighs 25 pounds) have virtually the same components at $800 or less ?! U can put a rack on any bike obviously. It’s a cool bike but I’d pay $1200 max for this Trek setup .

Hello.. kindly I say this, if you take the "troll hair" (fake fur) and cut a donut and place the long fake hair around the mic on your camera, all that wind noise will disappear. This is what movie companies use.

How tall are you? What size frame did you buy?

pavanatanaya I am 5' 10 and I got the 19.5 the fit was great. The only thing I needed to do was a slight adjustment to the seat.

I see that the seatpost base is buried in the frame. Did that pose any difficulties in the fit. I know the dropper posts are great but they do pose limitations when it comes to frame sizing

I did ride the 17.5" size, had to put the seat post up pretty high and the handlebars were way too close. The 19.5" feels great, I still have about an inch of adjustment down. My seat height feels dead on, I cant see ever having to lower the seat. This is my first dropper post, I can't believe the difference it makes on step down hill. Especially with all the gear on front rack. Maybe Trek will make a 18.5" size next year. Hope this was helpful.

Saleh Badhafari I am 5'10 and I have the 19.5 and it just great for me. The 18.5 was a bit short for me, but it wasn't that bad.
