The Snoopy snow cone machine was something that was definitely around well into the 90s. It took MUSCLE to crush that ice. You were basically turning a crank to shred solid ice cubes with a cheese grater. And it was so LOUD too, you could deafen everyone in the kitchen, lol.
@@80sCommercialVault God, it really does look identical. Maybe the grater part is less exposed? At least they added a clamp, for your table... I guess. All I can say is good luck to anyone that buys it, lol.
There's the epic KCOP voice declaring that TRANZOR Z and his high powered optics are coming to channel 13! Then we got some concentrated 80s with the Brittania ad! For sure!
Transformers Blaster- Hearing a robot voice come out of the kid’s mouth at 1:17 is pretty jarring. Alpha Bits- The design of the animated version of the girl in this commercial reminds me of Eliza Thornberry from the Nickelodeon cartoon, “The Wild Thornberrys”.
I still have my Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine with all the parts. I recall using it one time right after getting it for Christmas about 35 years ago. I guess the younger target customer of Go-Bots was evident in how the voice-over said that parents had to put together the Go-Bot Command Center. I don't remember anything that needed much assembly.
I believe it's Frank Welker doing a Mel Blanc impression. Blanc was still doing voicework at this time but his voice was much deeper in his old age and this doesn't sound like him.
I’m watching monster squad with my kids and the scene where the kid says a monster is in his closet the kid is wearing a robotech shirt….we watched these commercials before monster squad, thought it was mildly interesting
Transformers Blaster-i dont think he was that tall in the cartoon Alpha Bits-if Ghostbusters Afterlife were to have been made in the 80s,this girl would be playing Spengler's daughter The Heart Family Nursery-they should appear in the Barbie movie sequel as her neighbors Brittania Clothes at Mervyn's -the teacher got up to show his/her dance moves and was promptly laughed at
I gotta be honest those firffels toys made me a bit weirdly uncomfortable they're like the mother 3 enemies. But then pop tarts came on and it was all good... and then the honeycombs happened...
I sure wish the Evil Horde was used on the He-Man series, but instead was apart of the She-Ra TV series after Filmation moved on from the He-Man cartoon. 😞 As always thank you for the latest post and have added it to my “80’s Weekday After School Commercials” playlist. 👍🏾
At the time, I did not even notice the Masters of the Universe cartoon ended. I did not even start watching it until 1985, 3:00 on weekday afternoons after "She-Ra." I was perfectly fine watching "She-Ra" though.
Yep, 85 was the last year of the series with reruns to follow. I too also watched She-Ra along with M.A.S.K, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Voltron, Inspector Gadget and so on after school. 85 to me was that sweet spot for weekday afternoon cartoons. 😀 📺 Also, trying to find Loo-Kee before an episode of She-Ra ended was pretty fun too. 👍🏾

You can actually still buy them today, but I don't know how it compares to the original

I wouldn't be surprised if it were the same exact mold with just a clamp added.
Actually saw one in a Walmart yesterday (September 2023)
Right next to another old school cooking toy; an Ez-Bake Oven
I love being an 80s kid in my heart. These videos help take me back so much. Thank you!

Wow KCOP 13… brings me back… thanks for posting these.
Never knew Snoopy was a Devo fan
I'm 51, and these were the best days of my life, well and having my babies in the late 90's
I'm enjoying these commercials from 1985 KCOP, including the ones from Hershey's Chocolate Syrup & Pop Tarts. Thanks for these, & Happy Weekend 😊

I wonder if whoever did the voice of the taxi driver turtle in the Froot Loops ad had chosen to base the voice characterization on Bugs Bunny.

13:02 - Looks like we've found the Action 52 of Cereal Commercials lulz

Brittania Clothes at Mervyn's -the teacher got up to show his/her dance moves and was promptly laughed at
13:04 - This has got to be the cheapest commercial I’ve seen on this channel. Did Honey Comb lose its budget in some kind of scandal?
12:44 - I guess the kid really was angry with Ovaltine after its “crummy commercial”.
I am hoping there was a Heart Family Divorce Court Playset, complete with a therapist for the children.
Alpha-bits
You couldn't keep a box longer than 3 days with me. That and Coooookie Crisps

@@myst4hire1 I didn't watch he-man or she-ra reruns until they showed up on the usa cartoon express.
Another binary volume. The bynars are back.
