Girl, you need to take that with you and get it signed! For one- it will be awesome. Two- you’ll regret it if you don’t. Three- I went to a comic con last year and was talking with the actor who plays Garth and he was telling me all of the weird things they sign (some are not appropriate for a family audience), so yours will just be something cool that Mischa will be honored by!
🌟 I saw you unbox that masterpiece of a pen…. it truly is stunning❣️ I hope you have a wonderful visit and journey to and fro. I miss road trips with my kiddos - those were fun times! I had never flown with a child until we did so with one of our grandchildren. We live in the Canadian Arctic in a tiny town that is fly in only for most of the year. I found it even easier to fly with him than a car trip, which utterly surprised me!
You are definitely not doing anything wrong with your trimmer. I was actually outside while my dad was weed eating one day and got hit in the head with a rock. Safety glasses is a good idea for the grass and dust flying. I absolutely love hearing stories of your mom. I can hear your love for her in your voice and it reminds me of mom ( we lost her in 2020). Hope you have a wonderful visit with your family. ✨

✨Thanks Katie for a lovely video. I absolutely think you should bring your diamond painting to the autograph signing. I’m sure anyone would be completely impressed to see his or her image in diamond painting, and would be very appreciative of such a true blue fan! I appreciate your comments and advice about burnout. You are right about the black drills. Right now I am working on DAC’s Tabby Night that I got recently on a restock. The drill field is so tight and the black drills (beware of any painting with night in the title) are plentiful but have a lot of tabs (beware of any painting with tabby in the title)!! 😊 I’m excited to see Wicked as well! Looks amazing! Unfortunately, though I watched the Super Bowl, here in Canada the stations showed Canadian commercials, which were not nearly as much fun! I’ve been watching the 🇺🇸commercials on TH-cam, I think my favourite was Uber Eats! Have a great week and a lovely trip to Arizona! ❤️ from 🇨🇦

Hi Katie, I always love to watch your WIP and CHAT videos on Tuesday, as I don't have lessons then. It's so totally relaxing on my day off, to paint along with you and hear your lovely family stories. Great, that your mum started DPing!!! When my youngest daughter started DP, I also told her not to buy tools, I also made her a more luxury toolkit myself, as I have loads of pens, trays etc!
A question for you: you often show such beautiful items from small shops, that I would love to buy, but would they ship to the Netherlands?

I missed you Katie. I haven't diamond painted in over 3 months. I moved out of state and started my life over. Very enjoyable listening to you again while I did some DP. I want to join the summer with the masters this year. I fell in love with Soul of the Rose. Beautiful painting. Don't know if I'll be able to afford it but I'm hoping. Thank you for an amazing video.
I’m so glad that the rock hit the window and not you or your kids! Eye protection is a great idea, I remember having a couple close calls mowing the lawn growing up. One nice part of living in an apartment is not having to worry about yard work.
It’s of course up to you but I think bringing the diamond painting to the convention would be something different and cool for him to see. I also think you could count each grouping of the Disney stickers as a finish, as they are listed in the front of the book. I didn’t watch the super bowl this year but I was excited when Ryan Reynolds uploaded the trailer to Dead Pool and Wolverine yesterday to his channel. I’ll have to try to find the Wicked trailer, and more ads. 💫⭐️
When I lived in London England my work used to give us free theatre tickets for shows all around London. It was great 😌
As always, I enjoyed listening to you while I worked on Purnell. You should definitely take your painting to the convention to get signed, I bet it would be something that stands out that would get signed and they will remember for sure! You're brave for trimming, I could never. My mind goes to worst case scenario and I'm sure I'd lose a limb! So exciting your Mom is trying diamond painting, something fun to do together while in Arizona. I, also, cannot wait for the start of baseball season, my favorite sport, and always a game on to watch no matter who is playing. 💫
🤩🤩🤩 Hi Mom! Lol. You can also try blotting your pen that is filled with wax,putty etc. on a wet paper towel for AB drills. It works great!
So fun to have your Mom start diamond painting. Cherish the hobby you can enjoy together.

Definitely get it signed! My friend has done a couple different perler bead projects of Norman Reedus (Walking Dead) and he's loved seeing the artwork she did and was happy to sign. I used to section off my canvas, now I just use release papers row by row.. but I cut the DAC release papers in half because that's a good size for me to work on. Sometimes I get 2 or 3 done in a sitting if it's more color block like but then I don't get overwhelmed w/ confetti. I wish DAC would sell their diamonds separately.. as I really do enjoy working with their new ones and they are very sparkly! Thanks for another great video!

Hi Katie, Suggestions for weed wacking: wear long sleeves and long pants to protect arms and legs, wear protective eye wear ( you don't want a scratched cornea!!)

Good morning from Los Angeles County.
I watched the game yesterday. Good game even if my team lost.
My parents taught my sister and I how to do everything. If I broke anything I had to repair. I got mad one time and carved a knife into the dining room table. My Dad made me strip, sand, lay varnish and sealer. I was seven years old. Didn't do that stunt again.
If I read, it is either fiction history, goth, or science fiction. Back in the 80s I started reading Dune. Ended up reading the whole series. Now 40+ years later I an thinking of checking one book at a time from the library.
In Diamond painting I am working on Golden Cocker Spaniel by Peggy Collins. Large canvas, with 11 bags of 310. The area I was working on was 90% 310. Like 310 hell. So, I have decided to leave the 310 to last.
None of my friends in life like Diamond painting. I gift them small Diamond paintings and one friend Gave to the Goodwill, and the rest gave to their grandchildren or grand nieces saying Diamond painting is for older children and not adults
Even my lead therapist is against Diamond painting. He calls Diamond painting silly and ridiculous. Wants me to donate all my Diamond Paintings and he will find me a hobby more suitable for someone with ADHD.
I debated him into a corner then asked to be transferred to the front desk.

Thanks for the chat, love to DP while listening to your WIP and Chat. I find that using micro Glue Dots to hold the tips in the pen works well. Usually I only need one dot, sometimes 1 1/2 dots. My sections are based on the color patterns, or the picture. Instead of cutting a rose bush in half I make the section larger to DP the whole bush.

Hey Katie, always enjoy your wip n chats. I like to section 7cm × 7cm on heavy confetti projects. 10cm ×10cm for color blocking projects. I learned about sectioning from your washi tape vidio. I'm on my first DAC canvas, and the cover plastic is so smooth and slick, the washi tape doesn't want to stay on. I have repairs to make with the taping. I've done 4 other canvases from other companies and did not have the issue. Just an observation. I agree with other comments that you having your DP signed would be so special. Thanks for your effort.
Also wear long sleeves and long pants when weed whacking along with your eye protection. No worries about videos. Enjoy your trip to Arizona. I just kitted up Sam the Stained Glass Cat from DAC. It has 15 bags of 310’s. Yikes!🤩⭐️🌟

Your drills are so straight. I'm jealous. Squares are hard for me. You inspired me to do a HEAD conversion project. Hopefully, it turns out. I know you said you weren't liking it and will be more selective.
I have found that the new double-sided release papers that DAC came out with are the perfect size for me. They are perfect squares about 3” X 3”.
*I’m only 20 minutes in so far, but am giggling so hard about the howling dog in the background while also saying with you “bring that poor baby inside!” Also, maybe it’s that I gravitate towards kits with brighter colors, but so far I don’t seem to have the same difficulties with 310 that almost everyone reports. I have found it consistent across all different companies that the colors I struggle the most with regarding the amount of trash drills is vastly skewed towards lighter colors like peaches, tans, and light blues and teals. I’ll have to come back at the end of the day to finish watching your video. ❤
Thanks for the WIP and chat this week, I'm pushing my way to the end of this piece almost there! So I have been listening to the Desert Curse series by Shannon Mayer on Audible. It's kinda young adult, definitely not very spicy or anything but great fantasy, and one of the main characters is a dragon which always makes me think of you. Her other series are also good and while the characters are completely different it's in the same like world scape. You might like it, it's a very easy listen. 🌟
I like confetti and color blocking in square and rounds I ❤ both
For section sizes, I math it to where for a standard DAC (56x79) 8x7.9 cm square (7 sections x 10 sections) so small or for my cross stitch conversion 4 (10x10 drill) squares. Also, yes, I love the whole broadway scene! Looking forward to that movie coming out. 🌟💫⭐️
I enjoy your WIP n chats. I listen on Monday evenings while working on my WIP. But do take time off and just enjoy your family. We all need to unplug from time to time. We will see you when you come home. I like 3.5x3.5 sections. That's the size of release papers I just got and it's perfect!

Well I’m going to have to watch that show from the beginning all 3 of my girls love the show and I’m fresh out of something to binge …The thing that I find ironic that Padelecki’s character has a brother named Dean, one of my daughters (they all 3 had something they watched that they wanted me to watch with them, and I did) so Gilmore girls was the youngest daughter and I know he was called Dean and he WAS Dean. Interesting to me, so that’s been a charm for him having a character on a show named Dean

I do really enjoy having these WIP and Chats on Mondays, they are definitely my go to for my post-work diamond painting session! With that being said though, you definitely don't owe us scheduled content. If you find that you've gotten into a routine with when you film but not with specific content, that's totally fine! I think I speak for a lot of us when I say that I'd rather see random content consistently as opposed to you getting burnt out trying to create certain types of content. I'm here for anything, whenever you decide to share it!

Triple A should have all the travel info you’re looking for. I’ve been a member for decades and used it when traveling with my kids. Hopefully they can give you all the kid-friendly info you’re looking for.

I like my sections on the larger side. I tend to divide the big ones into 16ths. If it’s a smaller one I will go with 8 sections. My go to is whiteboard tape. I have it in a bunch of colors. That’s cool that your mom started diamond painting! What made her finally give it a shot after all this time? ⭐️

I just need you to know how much I appreciate all you do for us. I do like to look forward to WIP & chat and unboxing, but everything else is an absolute bonus! Sometimes there needs to be a break, I’d hope you never get burned out, but that’s me being selfish 😅. I feel so good on the days I sit and watch or listen. I even have my husband enjoying them. It’s something we do together(watching not DPing). I’m grateful for the experience. I hope these sinuses don’t stick with you too much longer and cutting the grass always makes it worse for me. Not in/from the states but did have a Super Bowl party (altho ours was more focused on the before as the party started at 9pm our time and the Super Bowl started 12:30am our time) us cheerleaders even did a little performance (did it three times… whoops)
Oooh the Six of Crows book was recently on sale on Audible, so I picked that up because my daughter has read it and said it's one of her favorite reads. I'm excited to get to it at some point! Yikes about your glass door - I'm glad no one was hurt but I'm sorry you have to deal with replacing it now. >< I tend to forget about the Super Bowl (soooo not a sports fan, lol) but I was glad to hear the Chiefs won, if only because it would be exciting for Taylor, lol. 🌟
💫 I'm not exactly a theatre buff, but I went to see Wicked here in London as my friend was the first black actress to play Elphaba! It was really interesting to see the trailer also show a black actress playing Elphaba in the film, too (sorry, I don't know her name).
As regards the Disney stickers, as they come 3 in a pack, maybe 3 stickers would make a whole finish?
I do section off my diamond paintings, but splitting it into equal sections wouldn't work for me, especially if it meant cutting off a major part of the artwork - like part of a face, or the moon, for example. So I pretty much section as I go, dependent on what I want to work on and what the section would surround. I really like the thin washi tape as it only covers 1 row of diamonds 💎✨️
I love a more stuff putty alien putty from make your own wall art on tiktok his alien putty is more on the stiffer/ drier putty which I feel lasts longer and works so much better better. I bought a small tin almost a year ago and I still have so much left. Definitely my go to from now on. I need to buy more colors. Love it

I don't get to do much dp. dp is my drug lol I love to do but don't have money for any of it kits and so on and don't want to buy of any webset because i don't want to buy unlicensed art work
🌠🌠🌠 I loved all your Supernatural accessories today. I use coversheets that are about 6.5x10 cm. Depending on confetti density they take me 1-1.5 hours to do, just about one WipNChat 🙂 Though I have been doing multiple since I'm SO CLOSE to finishing my kit. (4 sections left)
The quote from Castiel tossing the molotov cocktail is a frequently used phrase at our house. 😂

You kept me company during breakfast, prepping lunch, and doing the dishes. The pen looks like it has honeycomb in certain sections. Whenever I get diamond painting fatigue I stop and asked myself when was the last time I did selfcare, played video games, did other hobbies, or just vegged out and watched anime. If my answer to any of those is "I can't remember " then I stop and go do that thing. Sometimes when I want to diamond paint when I know I'm gonna participate in a big event in a few weeks I'll declutter and deep clean becauae I know it aint gonna get done during the event 💫
Thanks for another great W&C! These are my favorite videos. You should totally take the painting to the SPN convention! Misha is one of Castiel's biggest fans AND he's crafty himself (I know he's done woodwork in the past, not sure if he still does) so I definitely think he'd appreciate it. Also, I definitely understand your feelings about burnout. I got myself into a mess with 8 WIPs because I would start one, get bored, then start another to avoid the burnout of working on a kit I wasn't happy with at that moment and in a roundabout way, gave myself burnout from trying to avoid burnout. As for a video schedule - for me, the best videos are the ones you're excited to make, so don't trap yourself into a schedule if it would stifle your creativity or excitement in creating content 💫

I’m a big con goer and thought to do the same with some related paintings! I’ve only been diamond painting a few months and your channel has been a great resource and such an inspiration! 💕

Thank you for the WIP and keeping me company while I diamond paint. I'm glad the rock hit the door and not you! We have these gumball trees that drop seeds that look like gumballs and we always have to sweep the yard of them before we mow- otherwise they make dents in the siding as they hit the house. 😓 And eyewear is a good idea. Hubby always wears his, just in case we miss a gumball or two (or many). And yay for taking a break! I'm happy to hear you listened to your body and took time off. As for the channel, I kind of like the variety. The Mondays and Fridays are like old favorites and the rest are happy surprises. ⭐🌟
I legit expected the quote on the side of the tray to be what was on your coverminder. 😂 That's my favorite Castiel quote and I yell it at my husband sometimes. 💫
