The reason you don't have more Kaedis is that their talent is traditionally ignored and marginalized and the cute little sopranos are pushed forward. With the exception being African Anerican gospel where altos are beloved. There are just as many altos and contraltos (women aren't bass since that is a gender specific term right or wrong) as there are sopranos if we give them the credit they deserve.
