I was taught in realism/landscape style. Now I am drawn to these techniques for the freedom and creativity they encourage. You are a wonderful instructor/mentor. Merci
Good for you! You have a firm foundation to work from. The notion that abstract painters don't know how to draw is not true! Thanks for watching! Merci beaucoup! 💖💖
I have the greatest admiration of your work, having newly discovered Your channel... and how to do work on a Gel plate. I wish I had more room in my home! So I could have some space to dry my canvases. (I live in a mobile home) This was suppose to be temporary housing. Anyway, I'm glad I have a place to live - but didn't think about Work Space 🙂 Another thing I appreciate, is that YOUR choice of MUSIC is soothing and not so loud - that it becomes a distraction. So many TH-camrs play WAY TOO MUCH music. Or they CHAT so incessantly, it becomes annoying. I also appreciate your patient way of presenting your material, and you are a most excellent Teacher. Thank You dear Sir... for your Gift
Yes! The rule of odd numbers! One of the first things my teachers taught us. I really appreciate that you are sharing your processes with us. So great!
I'm going to change my method, I will paint the canvas first with a solid color, sides included! I think it will have a cleaner neater effect. Thanks for watching! 🙏🙏
Your work and videos have kindled an appreciation and understanding of abstract art. Thank you for opening my mind to this wonderful artistic expression. ❤
Up close the colors-are very vibrant. I was afraid at first that you had used too much turquoise , but as usual, you proved me wrong. I guess i am still a scaredy cat! Thank you!
I was thinking the same thing, lol, but I also have so much faith in Fulton that I knew I was wrong! I actually love how the turquoise acted almost like a frame.
Wow you never cease to amaze me. At first I didnt think it was going to work, but as you carried on it all married together. Thank you once again for inspiring us. Also what is a shaper?

not sure about doing that, I can't use resin because I am sensitive to the chemical odors. I guess you can use clear resin as a glue. Try it on a test piece.
@@artwhisperer88 Thank you!! Good idea! I’ll do a small sample. Thank you and I love what you do (so talented!!) and the calm manner is so wonderful to watch!! 🥰
I use Mod podge matte when I use Blickcrylics or Liquitex basics acrylics, they have a flatter finish. Soho acrylics are shinier, so I use satin. The effects are quite subtle though so its really not that important, its just personal taste.
@@artwhisperer88 I appreciate very much your response. Not only you explain very well your work process but you are always ready for answering our doubts. Thank you very, very much. I am learning a lot with you.
thank you again for your generous sharing.. it’s always very helpfull! I would like to ask you how you protect your work if you do not put it under glass? if we want to glue the painting to canvas for example, would you use a varnish or a medium?
you could use a gloss medium as a sealer. Golden is a good brand. I have also used gloss Mod Podge on a smaller piece, it worked fine as a glue and a sealer.
thank you really for your response... I took the liberty of following the link you sent to someone else to a private collection of your works, it's magnificent! What a joy..

My heart skipped a beat when you painted the side of the canvas. Wonderful addition to the piece.

I absolutely love the idea of your main elements being "characters". This was a good way to present composition. Collage is hard for me. :-)
It would be great to see a house or apartment decorated with your art work everywhere.

Every time you inspire me! Again thank you for showing your processes and giving the tutorial concerning composition! 🥰

Beautiful, thanks for this great info!!
Thank you ❤
It’s beautiful!! Can this type of art work be done on a painted canvas with resin on top? 😊
not sure about doing that, I can't use resin because I am sensitive to the chemical odors. I guess you can use clear resin as a glue. Try it on a test piece.

You mentioned you use Mod Podge satin. When do you use Matte or you do not use it at all.

Thank you !

WILD ass color!
Great . Thank you . What is the white that you draw with at the end .. out of the bottle?
it is diluted white acrylic, it is way more effective than any marker
I often see faces in your work. Have you been told this. Thankyou
yes, many times!
AWesome again. I find hand sanitiser works well for me,it has alcohol in it. A bit of rubbing required..
thanks for the tip! I have a small amount laying around, will use it for cleaning my hands and my brushes too!
