Where's it coming from, err let's see, the Spanish flag at the rear should give it away, don't they teach anything in schools these days? Where's the Armada?
@@medic1627 En España se conoce al humor de los británicos , como Flema britanica , porque suele ser un humor calmado , impasible , apático y hasta algo frío y con mucho sarcasmo.. El humor británico , es parecido a su carácter , impasible , calmado y algo apático...
Most people wouldn't know what the mast and rigging are for these days so I guess diesel or gas drive engines OK. Sad though having a fake rigged sailing ship just for tourist. I doubt that it is even a wood ship.
In the past, large ships like this one were towed in and out of port by rowboats and waited for the right tides for each case. Today, these entries and exits are made with auxiliary motors. The rest of the navigation on the high seas is done with sails. Today you have learned something you didn't know, in addition to the fact of asking when you don't know, instead of stating.
Si.
What a beautiful sight ❤
Wonderful video - many thx! Enjoy & Happy Summer, Everyone!!
Beautiful 👍...THANK YOU
Estos galeones cruzaban el Pacifico, de Acapulco a Manila.
Brilliant video
Portentoso !!
A Spanish ship in an English port, Francis Drake will be turning in his grave.
Great Spanish ship
they entered motor driven ... I wonder how they did it in those days only powered by wind ...
In reality, entry and exit from the port was done by towing these large ships with several rowboats and waiting for the right tides.
Similar shape to the Vasa, which I saw in Stockholm. Obvs this one is a bit more seaworthy…😀
Seagulls going nuts
It's got an engine obviously
Motor driven today I guess?
Yeah, pretty sure there's a diesel engine chugging away.
Look at the flags, with square rigging it would have been impossible to sail into Whitby.
In fact, in the past, entry and exit from the port was done by towing these large ships with several rowboats and waiting for the right tides.
Hope the espanoles enjoy Whitby fish n chips ..! 😂😂
Ñam!!
