- This is the final performance of Scandia Golf & Games animatronic band The Rock-afire Explosion, shot right as the uninstall began. As you might notice, these animatronics appear more like something out of Five Nights at Freddy's due to the missing cosmetics. This show was vandalized previously and someone stole many of the character masks and head fur. This show also hadn't run since the start of the pandemic in 2020 so it was surprising they had as many functions working after over two years of sitting.
It’s a shame parts of them were taken off(and stolen?). Still great to see them moving and singing their old songs all together for the last time.
Probably not stolen. Maybe due to the latex in the masks breaking down decaying and falling apart they had to be removed and no one makes new ones except for a few people like the creator of the rocks fire explosion himself who may charge a ton or may or may not want to give new parts or cosmetics.

I'm impressed at their condition. They still are fluid. Maybe a tiny bit degraded, but still keeping to the beat!
It hurts to see them in such a condition. Still, I'm happy knowing that these guys lasted so long bringing joy to everyone who came to see them perform.
Its honestly suprising how well they are working being in that condition
It’s incredible how well they’re doing after years of sitting. I desperately hope they went to a loving home who will let them sing.
Last time I saw they were put inside of a storage unit when the lady bought them

Billy Bob’s Wonderland is really one of the last of its kind, especially after the removal of this show. Despite whatever condition their show is in, the place has become an extremely valuable relic now

Cec will fall as well btw kids are into these things still they probly look at bad condition and get scared we know that’s why the company is doing what thre doing if they took care of their shows there would be no 2.0

@@Gamingwithemo You hit the nail on the head here! I've watched some footage of CEC bots in poor condition, barely moving, and they're either boring or unsettling to watch, or both! In alot of cases even the music is annoying or turned way down..Meanwhile footage of Smitty's they were lively and fun!! (Granted I'm also biased - those were the same animatronics from the 80s that I grew up with)
And what do you think is gunna happen after that FNAF movie comes out? Kids are gunna wanna see some real life animatronics, instantly think of going to Chuck E Cheese and be gravely disappointed ( as will the parents!)

They actually ran really well
I started working at Scandia a few months ago, it’s so sad that they’re gone. I would’ve loved to work there when the animatronics were still up, I was too scared of them when I was little to actually appreciate them

Gotta be honest here...the videographer never stayed in one spot or on one character long enough to study the actual condition of the characters. By the end of the vid I was seasick!

In the US yes.. I made a headcannon where 2025 is the year the Rockafire explosion officially retired after 45 years of touring and music.. it was officially stated by the band that they were getting older and had been suffering multiple health problems and it was getting harder for them to preform. So they called it quits permanently retiring after being semi retired since 2000.

This was always one of my favorite show setups, mostly because it was the last show to utilize the original ‘90s TiVo system and shows. The show was well-maintained for the most part, and it really shows in this video - considering that they hadn’t run in two years. It’s a real shame to see this show leave the public eye, but it’s moving on to bigger and better things - especially in the hands it’s in now. Big thanks to Travis and Tabitha for shooting and uploading this footage, as if it weren’t for them, we wouldn’t be able to see the show ever run again at Scandia!
This show was litterally my childhood
i remember the day i showeed up to the arcade to see them (i like to peek through the curtains while they werent operating) and i felt my heart sink when they were just gone
i went to the scandia the other day and just felt sad seeing the whole area empty
They're actually in really good condition compared to others ive seen, so sad they're being removed and disassembled 😥 Hopefully they're getting the new home ❤

I just discovered this place last summer...I never even heard of Rockafire Explosion before because ShowBiz never really crossed over into Canada, but I did grow up with Chuck E Cheese in the 80s...I was a little uneasy around the bots until I was a bit older, then I was absolutely mesmorized by them...And now finding THIS show in my 40s (not running) at Scandia sort of JOLTED my childhood CEC memories back to life. I was excited to come back and see them perform after repairs, because a whole bunch of us in my family came for a day of fun with the kids...I was really hoping to share a cool piece of history with my neice and nephew...
I don't know why this hit me so hard... I think because CEC are removing and destroying their animatronics, then on top of this, I had this RARE, fantastic show near my family and we never knew it existed..
So thankyou so much for sharing this...❤️ Not sure why it means alot to me, but it does...Atleast I got to see them perform in HD from this video, and I got an idea of what they looked like after the theft, cause I was really frustrated and hunting for answers lol
I really hope Vancouver or Kelowna could once again host a Rockafire Explosion show....Only time will tell...🥺🇨🇦

It’s a shame the show was removed because despite the conditions of the masks and cosmetics i can let that slide because they are in Canada so it would be hard to get them fixed but this was a good stage
I wish I knew that they left... Scandia was one of my favorite places to go for my birthdays when I was younger sad to see them in this condition and gone. But all good things must come to an end
As sad as this is, it is rather neat to see how fatz mouth worked because of the mask.

I might be a bit late to ask, but are there any chances that some of the Tivo videos will get digitized? I know there's some that has been, but ones that hasn't, like Poetry In Motion, Stay Out Of The Wipeys, The Lion Sleeps Tonight, Fatz Name Change, When The Lights Go Out, I Swear, and some more segments/show selector skits I might not know that are video incorporated.

Sad To See Them Like This The CRT Television Is Glitching Maybe Input lag or the VHS Tape Being Dirty
At the start, the VHS player text was glitching as well so that makes me think its more a case of a damaged input cable or input plug on the back of the CRT. Or it could just be the CRT succumbing to old age.

LMAO I live in White Rock BC and went to a high school named Earl Marriott. The sports team was called the Mariners and the logo was a green M and the colors were green and white. The cheerleader animatronic had an almost EXACT outfit that the cheerleaders of my high school wore.
its so strange seeing fatz without the flat as a pancake mask on him haha, hope to see a new mask on him soon, in fact all of them, but fatz is my favorite. I understand they are being uninstalled but hopefully not thrown away, i would hate that. (also i just looked at the pinned comment, what and how was some parts stolen, i need to know the story)
i live near this city, it’s a know party spot and this place attracts a lot of teenagers. masks and wigs were stolen, and it was confirmed they’re not being thrown out but instead sold to new owners.

Can you do a pizza time episode investigation the recently found birds that were housed on the Irvin tx rockerstage (this is most likely the only show to have the birds) they were like the flower most likely using the same programming as the flower I’ll send videos if you need them
