I have been running without apocalypse build and putting it towards harbinger of doom line.with festering scythe. It performs much better in aoe and st. having more procs on riders are 10x better than apocalypse dmg. Highly recommend
@@jademers88 so with the build im explaining you remove apocalypse and magnus of the dead and 1 point off improved festering strikes and replace with reaping, harbinger of doom, festering schythe rotten touch. It improves both your aoe and st because theres more suddom doom procs and 1 less gcd without apocalypse. I have a link down below in the comments you can tweek it a bit i have improved death coils because theirs alot of 2 target cleave(necrotic wake 3rd boss ie). You can also switch vile contagion with pestilence but thats all preference. Try it out trust me
I’m so glad wounds are back, unholy truly does aoe like no other, absolutely love that we pick up vile contagion as well, most satisfying aoe set up in the game imo
In my opinion, we should mention that, vile contagion + bursting sores, it's like for the 2% of unholy player pushing high keys. Focusing on the wound build on mythic plus 7/8 or lower is BAD. By the time you have prepared your setup for spamming strike, half of mobs are dead. Have a look on the non wound build too that is more straight forward, and do not requires the tank making big pull, expecially in pug. It's like breath build for frost. Use it on 10+. Otherwise go oblit.

It comes from doing the dungeons a lot and knowing when to use what. And, it depends what other classes are in your group. Anyway, play the build you want, at the end of the day, it's just about the fun you're having

Obliteration you got cds alll the time. I run 2h and riders for 3 death and decays on row, dual wield may be abit better but I dont like its dmg style I like the big numbers :)
i didnt realize i wasnt subscribed, my b. i think Sanlayn has insane burst potential, but i never see it in higher keys. Why is that? its a 45 second cooldown vs 1:30, and for aoe on my 609 dk i hit 9 mil on a single pull once. is it just more hit or miss?

I have such a hard time understanding what spells you are referring to because of your accent. At around 7:40 you say a spell that sounds like “grace of promotion” right before dark transformation, I have no clue what those words are or what spell you meant. Enunciation and slowing down a bit on would help a lot. I am a native English speaker too so it’s not a language barrier thing. This is meant to be a helpful criticism not a flame.
Wish I was satisfied with my spec just pumping but I hate when I look at my enhancement shaman dmg breakdown and I just see 2 abilities are doing 50%+ of my overall damage. I know it really shouldn't bother me but it just makes pressing every other button feel bad, like I am only pressing them so I can cast CL and Tempest. I don't know, I am just looking for something to play that has a more even damage profile, I can't find anything as it is rare for youtubers to actually show details damage breakdown. Just seems like every class is more or less designed this way sadly.
They're getting big buffs today so should help, and "viable" only really counts if you're pushing really high keys. All specs will complete anything 10 or lower with good gear and mechanics.
Would you bother making a similiar guide for Sanlayn Unholy? Or do you think it's just not worth the effort? And if so, do you think there's some breathing space opening up in 11.05 for the others sub-spec?
Apocalypse will also burst those 4 wounds, meaning you will have 2 left to use Scourge Strike on. However, before using Apocalypse, pop Vile Contagion, and u should be golden :) just watch for runic power, as VC requires 30 RP, which can be SUPER annoying sometimes. What I usually do is Unholy Assault -> Festering Strike -> Scourge Strike -> Vile Contagion -> Apocalypse. Someone please correct me if I'm doing it wrong.
@bojanjovanovic6716 I usually do that scourge strike before the festering, but if you do so with CDs up your Abom will reapply the wound by the time you press vile contagion so I don't think it matters too much
I cleared t?? With singletarget Standart build, tons of pulls, brann on healer and just get practise.. Took me around 30 pulls incl. Finding right talents + frost/blood trys
@ cleared it oct 10th with unholy build. Way easier imo because it has a lot more ranged attacks making it easier to kill the eggs and dodge the attacks simultaneously.
Not gonna lie, I avoid Ret Pally players. Majority dont use any of their utility 100% would bring a DK over a pally with just arms and grip alone... except maybe mist; been scared to many times.

It's situational but usually you want to Death Coil at 2 targets, 3 spread you use Death Coil, 3 stacked you use Epidemic.

Im new to DK and frost is hard for me to understand. Would unholy be easier? Also can you run with 2 1 handers with unholy or do you need a 2H wep?

Sanlayn needs a buff on the monster spawn rate to make it worth. Right now it’s almost always worse than rider.
