GREAT question.... So the HD2s feel much LOWER. And I think they do that by literally having a lower h-block. The MEGA frames have pretty good wheel protection as well, but they're much harder to get down on royale type tricks. I think the wheel protection is superior on he HD2s, but barely. And these give so much more power transfer! They feel more responsive... And honestly it feels way better riding these flat 72 than it does flat 64s in the MEGAs (no drawbacks and way more speed.) I like my MEGAs, but the HD2 72 frames are more versatile and give you everything great the MEGAs did before. Hope that helps! Please just ask if you come up with more questions. PEACE!
@@lostbearings Wow, thanks for the great response! I got used HD72 off eBay loaded up 72 flat but have yet to try. The wheels have kind of a flat profile so I'll probably run them down a bit before trying anything crazy. I'm also very curious to try the frames with bullet profiles and flat 68mm. I just subbed, and it shows you have 1 subscriber. Am I really your only sub?! That doesn't seem right.
I just made my page public again after a short break... I'm hoping TH-cam fixes my subs and they all come back eventually. We'll see... I bought some 68mm wheels for these frames at the spring blading cup, but the 72mm undercover team wheels keep going and going so I haven't tried them yet. But the bullet profile makes skating A-B faster, but gives you less stability for tricks (at least initially.) They also make slides a lot easier. Thanks for the reply! Good luck with the frames! PEACE. 🙏✌️
Thanks for the pure blade sounds. I agree sounded satisfying. Can't wait for the next one. Cheers! 👊🏻
great sesh!!!
How do the Mega frames feel compared to the HD 72 in terms of angles and trick positioning? Comparable? Totally different? Thanks.
