I think K25 is narrow enough to fit in without cutting, my only concern would be the "wire gauge" of the K25...it might not catch when fully compress...or put less coils in, but the performance would be less, probably under 120 fps
I fit a K25 in no problem (no cutting necessary). Same length as stock spring. The internal catch mechanism deforms a bit when the spring is primed, so reinforcement may be necessary down the road.
@@runnerdm6 nice to hear!!! Basically the shell is warping under the spring tension, it's one of the reason I took a larger diameter spring. By having a wider "footprint" on it's seat the warping is lesser
I personally like to work with already existing blaster upgrade springs( to check compatibility), then in last resort, I go towards K25/26... Those blaster upgrade spring often give better performance than K springs and are easier to prime
@@thatoldnerfguy I can respect that. It's just cheaper and the barrel is too short to take advantage of the bigger springs. But maybe rebarreling it with rivalbern barrel would work.
@@zeanyt2372 There's also some hop up adjustment possible, the hop up tab is basically a rubber band with a "notch" on it...Either shaving it or create one with a soft o-ring
it might... I didn't try it...but I use Helios Spring in Kronos to bring them to around 100-110 FPS, good idea!!... Not sure if it's long enough for the Finisher, but it might be a good option...best way to make sure is to Try it!!
With the result, the little surgery the blaster undergoes is worth it. For easier mod and softer shot, AK Blaster Mod 10KG Orbit spring or 10-11KG Worker Longshot will work without have to cut the spring/re square its end.
My pistol did not shoot the darts, it is the same model, I took it apart to see if the parts were complete but now it is difficult for me to put them and assemble it :(
@@matm2781 1st- Let's make sure we speak about the same blaster here... The Rival Finisher(this blaster) don't shoot darts, but Round ball projectile (HIR). Then check my Finisher Internals Video or my Finisher Seal Fix Video... It might help you put it back together. Take your time, you will be able to close it.

Just finished the prototype finisher priming handle with t pull glad she can handle a little upgrade.
I'm even planning on installing a stiffer one in, maybe not Full Longshot 22kg but something around 18kg should work well.

You can get basically the same preference for a piece of k26 and removing the spinner support wings from the plunger rod.

Its about 1/4 of an inch shorter and jusssst a little smaller in diameter. Think I need a spacer or something or am I good?

go for the Kronos.... Better quality, more parts available. Finisher got some seal issues
