Amazing! I would love to see a video of you taking down your village and packing. I bet there is much that could be learned in that process. Blessings ❤
I started in the world of Christmas villages last year, for a very special reason. My son passed away on January 30, 2020, from leukemia. He loved Christmas, so I decided to make a lantern in his honor that I called Christmas in the Sky. This year I wanted to integrate more villages and I managed to do it thanks to your tutorial, the sky mountain. I feel a little frustrated because I wanted to make the cable car with movement and I haven't been able to do it. I hope you read this message and can give me some ideas to be able to do it. I am from Puerto Rico and here we can't get many of the things we need to make a beautiful Christmas village. PS: I admire you very much
Ohhhh girl I’m soooooooo excited ! ❤❤❤❤❤❤ thank you so much for taking the time I know it’s a lot to film and edit in everything i really really appreciate it
Hi Miriam 👋. That is amazing. I liked how you added the lips to make the builds look like they are seamless. That's going to be beautiful with the finished look. Great to see you again sis. Stay blessed 😘👍💕💕
Amazing, I can't wait for the finished display. Have you thought of compiling your works of art into a coffee table book?? It would make a great christmas gift.😊❤
Miriam, I'm speechless!, (and that's hard for me). The way you constructed your village background as a puzzle, makes it so easy to paint each piece separately then re-assemble! Storage will be easier as well. You amaze me girl!❤😊😊😂
Yes, they are large but definitely not the biggest. 😂🤣 The mountain I made 3 years ago still is the largest build I have ever made. I have tried to balance my channel with showing smaller builds that I sell on Etsy to give inspiration. I hope those helps you with ideas. 😁
I'm always in awe of your village displays. You inspire me so much. I made a zoo also after seeing yours, except I did a polar bear exhibit instead of the penguins. Anxious to see how this comes together. We all know it will be incredible.❤
I love doing my houses, I have a wall with individual shelves and they all have outlets so it makes it really easy to light them up. Yours is magical though, I can’t wait to see it all together.❤️
Wow, that was a lot of work. It is really interesting to see it all put together. I am looking forward to seeing it all finished. I doubt I could ever get to your level. Thanks for sharing. Nicci
My dad gave me his old Lionell postwar train for my village and although I love it let me tell you it’s a real pain in the you know what trying to figure out your village around the train so I hear you when you say you had to build first ! The struggle is real lol
It's a villager's event with a Dept 56 designer signing his buildings. Other TH-cam villagers will be there too. Maybe a good chance to meet up with other hobbiest.
Hey, it depends on where you are located. These boards are more expensive than the white insulation foam boards. In my area they are about $60 per board but others have told me they are $40.00 in their area. The white insulation foam boards are only $20. Hope that helps. 😁
Do you allow a certain number of inches per building we you plan your design? I have more buildings than I now have space. I'm looking for some guidance on how to determine how many buildings can I get in a display. I want to have roads and sidewalks, parks and such. I don't want just a line of buildings.
Hello Donna, that is a great question. I never use my entire collection of buildings. Right now my table base is 6’x8’ and I use roughly 25-30 max. This always allows me to have plenty of space for lots of accessories and to set up my scenes. One rule I have it to always have a minimum of 3 trees per building. So I make sure to keep enough space around the buildings to do that. When creating a full village, I think less is more. Less buildings so more details can be added. The more details the more realistic the village looks. I hope this helps.
You are an amazing inspiration!❤
Thank you!
Amazing!

I have a few videos posted showing me taking my village down.
@ thanks!

Hey sis, it’s so good to hear from you. Thanks so much! 😁

Thank you so much.
No, I haven’t thought of that. That is a wonderful idea.
Very lovely! I will soon be beginning my 2025 plan. I really like your progress so far!
Thanks so much!

Awe, thanks so much, I appreciate that.
Holy moly! Your village is going to be epic. I love how you made it fit so seamlessly so far.
Thank you, I’m so excited about how it’s coming together! 😄
Really looking forward to seeing the end result. I'm sure it will be amazing 😊
Thank you, I can’t wait to show you when it’s finished!
This is so exciting, thank you for showing us how the magic starts! Can’t wait for the rest! 🇨🇦👏🎄
You are very welcome! 😁
👀👀👀 Whoa!!! That must be the largest 🏔️ builds you've made! I really miss❤the 🏔️ displays of your early days😊

I am glad you are showing modular platforms now, as always you explain things so very well and throughly love to watch your vids.
Thank you very much, I appreciate that!
Thank you, Miriam, for sharing your amazing work in creating villages! I always enjoy your tutorials, and I’m excited to see the finished product.
Thanks Sandra. I’m shooting to have it all done in 3 weeks.

That’s so sweet, thanks so much Debbie.
Wow! That is going to be amazing! Looking forward to see more, thank you ❤

I bet that looks great on your wall. 😁
Thanks so much!
This is a really good start! I'm so excited for the rest of the series! :D
Thank you! 😁
I love everything so far.

🤣😂🤣. Yes it is. You have to have everything figured out when you factor a train in.
Will you be attending the Millie's Hallmark store on 11/02/24 for their villaging event?
It's a villager's event with a Dept 56 designer signing his buildings. Other TH-cam villagers will be there too. Maybe a good chance to meet up with other hobbiest.
Hey, I am just seeing your comment. I wish I had know about it sooner, I would have attended. Maybe next time. 😁
I forgot to mention, I love your new Introduction Video to Miriam's Manner very fantasy-like!!
Thanks, I had that made last year with the other one.
Fantastic!
Thanks Barbara!
Hi Miriam - can i ask the dimensions of your base table? Looking great already 😊
Thanks so much! I have 1 table that is 4’x8’ and another table I cut in half so it is 2’x8’. Total is 6’x8’.
❓Are those foams affordable? Where can you buy them? I'm still recycling old packaging foam to save💰😅
Hey, it depends on where you are located. These boards are more expensive than the white insulation foam boards. In my area they are about $60 per board but others have told me they are $40.00 in their area. The white insulation foam boards are only $20.

@MiriamsManner It sure does, thanks from the ATX!

Thanks for sharing, where did you buy your styrofoam?
You are welcome. Those foam boards are from Lowe’s. You can get them in the insulation foam board section.
