From Missouri, My brother died from CJD. The neurologist at Barnes Hospital St Louis believes Mike acquired it from an infected deer. He traveled the Ozarks for his business
Are some deer resistant to CWD and will never get sick from it when exposed? Over time do you think all deer will be resistant. Is it a case where nature has to run its course?

Very sorry he passed in such a way. Was your brother a hunter?
@@ericschmuecker348- yes, and ate foraged foods. The infectious proteins can remain in food supplies with no known eradication processes
Isn't cjd from cattle.
I’m sorry for your loss, I wish you and your family the best
Sorry for your loss. Thank you for letting us know about CJD.
Why doesn't MDC talk to different hunter podcasts to help answer questions about CWD, the money, and their management practices?
Hiding CJD comments?

I guarantee you that’s how it will be, just a resistance has to be built first
@@BrantlyFrederick it could exist and/or transmission is more difficult outside the internet
Unless deer evolve to not have misfolded proteins, they will not develop a resistant.
It’s all about the money!
So man made. Like Lyme?
🐺🐻 Волки и медведи могут заразиться CWD, съев такого оленя? 🍖🦌
Umm yea I trust the Missouri DNR. 😂
In nearly 60 years of harvesting deer , I’ve only seen 3 sick animals . Eat it as a constant part of my “diet “ . Never had an animal tested .
Cool story internet guy.
