    Nice job! Surprised that one large motor can power that monster. This mission is also pretty slow, even tho it gets most missions done, and if it fails, that could be a lot of points gone down the toilet. The robot looks like it may not end fully in base all the time.

      Thanks for the suggestions! This run will be updated to prevent possible problems and be faster, but as the robot is always aligned on the wall, the level of accuracy is always very high.

    Yet another great robot. Just keep in mind that there is a pesky hight limit this year.

    I think you could do the Filter, the Toilet, the Flow, And the Rain Cloud with that huge arm.

    You could probably do the filter mission as well with this awesome machine!

    This is definitely the biggest and most complex attachment i've seen thus far but if you only have one driving motor then does that mean you aren't going to use the robot for other runs? Also I might be wrong about this but it seems like your attachment is taller than 30.5cm.

      Only in this run a large motor is used to move the attachment, but in the other runs two large motors move the robot. The robot and the attachment are less than 30.5 cm. They are 29.8 cm.

      where is it written that the robot height should be within 30.5 cm since this is my first time in FLL.

    Wow. I can’t imagine all the gearing involved in that attachment. Do you have 1 motor powering it or 2, because you then have 3 arms which move. What sorcery have you used here 😂

    • @TeamTheWalkingLego
      @TeamTheWalkingLego  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      We used a large motor to move the attachment and three motors for the arms.

      Team The Walking Lego 1 large motor! How! How much gearing down did you have to do? That attachment seemed to require a lot of torque to me. Amazing, that is really amazing! Good job!

    • @TeamTheWalkingLego
      @TeamTheWalkingLego  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! We used chains to withstand the torque required ... and it worked! :)
