Anything in the teens or later and you're getting Romeo Langford or you're trading Desmond Bane to get off of a 1 year 5 million dollar Enes Kanter contract onky to trade for Kanter again later (the dumbest move in the history of the NBA draft I swear). Seriously. Ainge's second best drafted player outside the lottery and he was traded on draft night to get out from a contract that he ended up trading for the following season anyway. The team’s culture has to be different than this for them to succeed differently and that’s why you see teams like Warriors or Celtics being successful, where they don’t have a definite number 1 option every night (I mean sure they do, Curry and Tatum respectively, but they look for the open hand first and foremost.
